RE: Pricing - Include Shipping and Handling?
1. ) I would include the S&H in the price. People don't like "paying" for shipping. You might also consider having a coupon code for free shipping instead.
2.) Price should be on the homepage.
3.) You might find the ConversionXL blog very useful.

RE: Has anyone noticed that there are no local results in their keyword rankings?
I opened a support ticket for this last week and they replied saying that it's a known issue and that the next time your campaign updates it will be functional again.

RE: Recommended Length for a Companies "Services" Page Content
I wouldn't set a fixed rule for number of words.
Here's a short list of what I do when writing content for a service:
- Determine the target audience
- Describe the service being provided
- Create personals
- Disqualify likely objections
- Provide your unique value proposition
- Add image(s), or data (charts) - if applicable
- Display testimonial(s) from the service
- Find the pages ranking for this service, see what they do well and find a way to do it better

RE: CSS vs Javascript vs JQuery drop down navigation
You can't go wrong with CSS. Endless styling possibilities. Also, I'd stay away from javascript because it's executed in order on the page. Meaning, if the JS doesn't load properly in the menu, the remaining JS below it wont load either.

RE: Multiple domain SEO strategy
I recommend using only one domain. You'll have much less setup, maintenance, ongoing SEO work with 1 site compared to 3.
I would just use different sections for the different kinds of paints/markets.

City/Town content pages for a local business
Earlier this month I asked a private question on the use of schema for service area pages on a home improvement contractors website. The question led to Miriam Ellis giving me some great ideas about creating content for pages specific to the clients service area.
The goal here would be to rank for [roofing contractor + city] using a URL similar to: mycompany.com/service-areas/city-state
A great idea Miriam gave me for creating content for these pages:
- Showcasing a previous project in that city/town with a well-written project description, photos, videos and client testimonials.
Her advice is excellent and I wanted to share it with you.
I also wanted to open up the discussion and see what others have had success with.
If the company is relatively new, and doesn’t have the work history to create pages such as this, what would you do?

RE: What's a good host for wordpress?
Thanks. How has there tech support been? They have a lot of negative reviews but its hard to tell if those are BS.
I've been reading good things about Zippy Kid though.

What's a good host for wordpress?
I've been using A2Hosting.com for a few years and am looking for something more reliable and better tech support.
I've looked at WP Engine, but would like something less expensive or someone to convince me that it's worth the cost
I have 10 domains using Wordpress (clients sites) that need hosting.
What are your recommendations, and what would be the ideal set up?

RE: How should I outsource my small business SEO needs?
Outsourcing your SEO for a small business isn't easy. It's difficult to find one consultant or company that has the skill set you're looking for with a small business budget.
However, there are services that can make some of the SEO tasks easier for you. I recommend outsourcing your business listings/citations to Whitespark.ca. You can easily get hundreds of links though this service, but make sure you're monitoring your link diversity.
On another note, I think you would benefit from a stronger value proposition. Check out what Peep has to say about value propositions.

RE: Best Wordpress Themes or Theme Creators for Best SEO Results
The theme would really depend on the goals of your website.
I'm a big fan of U-Design by Andon. Andy is 100% correct. The Yoast SEO plugin is an automatic for all of my wordpress sites.
