Should i subscribe moz local for an ecommerce company selling apparels?
isn't moz local for local business only?
Thank you guys for your help.
I think that i got here enough information's to continue.
Thank 's exactly the problem, because our site is not ecommerce so for us conversion = Lead.
I did create in ppc conversion name and gates so i can know if the conversion is email details,
Or thank you page, but still its very hard to determine if the leads was converted or not.
I know that there is a way to add a code to the url of the ads and then ill see in the quotes system where its coming from. (Im still trying to crack it and to understand how to do it i think the professional name is referral).
We did create goals and targets in analytic so we can know how many comes to the catalog page or fill the quotes form but still in the end we cant really determine the total cost of the leads.
I do believe as soon as ill crack the way to add the referral to the code and ill know in the system from where each leads are coming then we will have 100% control on this.
Thanks
Hi guys,
Im managing the campaigns in the company that im working and so far i think that the results are o.k more or less.
The problem is how can i really know if it is o.k ?
I really don’t have any data to compare to…
For example, this is campaign from the insurance niche from the uk :
Clicks – 132
Impr – 6,958
CTR- 1.90%
Conversion – 20 (Not inducing the one that calls the office)
Conversion rate – 16%
Total cost – 704£
How can i know by these number that the campaign is working ?
Same here (T-shirts campaign for the Spanish market):
Clicks – 1,219
Impr – 26,177
CTR- 4.66%
Conversion – 56
Conversion rate – 4.5%
Total cost – 493€
Probably you will say, check how much you spend and how much you got back ?
This is also a problem for me. I can see the numbers of the conversion but because we are not eCommerce so i cant really know the total income.
Do you know if there’s is a way that each for quote that coming to our system
so i will know where it came from ? Like a comment in the url or something ?
I think that 90% of our income/quotes comes from the organic as we are ranking very high in Google so its a bit mixed in the system.
Any feedback or tips here on this will be very welcome…
Guys i need some urgent help here as we need to get this sorted out soon.
We have a page similar to wayfair shop the look: www.wayfair.com/Shop-The-Look/
What are the best practices for URL structure if we applies 2-3 filters? Is wayfair style good for SEO?
FYI: We create our crawlable, link friendly AJAX website using pushstate() but unsure of the structure for this case.
We followed http://moz.com/blog/create-crawlable-link-friendly-ajax-websites-using-pushstate advice.

Hi jane
Say we have an ecommerce store selling shoes. Should we create different stores for each country and geotarget it for best results? Since those items are similar, wouldn't it create duplicate content?
For example:
www.example.com/us/sling-bag-white
www.example.com/uk/sling-bag-white
Aren't those the same? How to tackle this duplicate content? Any Moz article that i should read to get an idea of the whole thing and best practices for this situation?
Hi Jane
Can you show me a tutorial on how to do this in webmaster tools?
Thanks
Guyz, we are new startups and have one very simple question regarding domain name.
Should we use example.com or example.com.au ?
Our Goal initially would be to target customer from Australia and gradually go global. So if we opt for .com.au we may have an edge in terms of local SEO in the beginning but lose out in the long run. What is the best way to tackle this?
Thanks
Try to cancel the registration option in the payment process, some time its work like charm.
Hello guys,
I have a client that ask for me to manage all his social activity.
He have an eCommerce store from the fashion market.
His website is in few languages.
I wanted to ask what do you recommend.
To open to every language a FB page or to open a main page with all the information's ?
Any help is welcome
Thank you for responding Keri.
So what do you think is the best to tackle this problem? Create dedicated unique page for all those terms and optimize it the way we do all the time?
Thanks
My friend is running an ecommerce store selling apparels. How can we make internal search results to appear in Google SERPS and rank them?
For example: the query is "peplum dress". You type the query into the internal search box and it returns a set of results. In this case, it's product listing.
How can we optimize and rank it so it appears in Google SERP? Do we do it the traditional way in terms of links?
Say URL is: http://www.asos.com/search/peplum-top?q=peplum+top&r=2
And we build links to it? Some of you may ask why not create a dedicated page for this, the reason being we'd have too many categories if we were to create one for each.
Thoughts?
Got you!!
Thank you for your help.
My main concern was that a big website the ranking with a lot of keys will get a bomp in the ranking.
We will leave the url's the same as its critical for the results.
We decided to move to Joomla because my boss got convinced for some reason that its better then WP.
Thank you for your help !!
Hello guy's,
We have a WP website and we are moving soon to a new site that will be in Joomla.
Our website is very big and we are ranking with more then 400 keys in all the tshirts industry in the UK.
The new website will be with the same url's and the same domain so we will not lose any of the ranking.
Within this domain we have the blogs as well and a lot of pages.
I'd like to get some tips about how to make the transition as smooth as we can to avoid problems with Google ?
We have more then 700 visitor a day so we can not take any risks regarding to this.
Any help is welcome !!!
Hey,
I saw the tool that you create, nice one !! Well done...
The problem that we have a very large and complicated form with
a lot of potion.
Do i have to create the form with your system ?
Can i add the code to an exists form ?
Thank you
Hello guys,
im manager the PPC campaign to the company that im working.
Its a t shirt printing company.
I know how PPC and how its work but im not an expert.
So far the campaign is working and we getting clicks and and leads.
But, i cant understand perfectly how to look at the information and decide whether the campaign works well. For example :
What is considered a good conversion ratio?
What is considered a good conversion cost?
How do I get a final summary of how much i spent and how much was the income ?
I add tracking code to the 2 main pages,
The page when they leave their information - The quote,
and the thank you - The payment page.
The problem is, that we don't sale t shirts online, we are printing house so we cant know by the number of the peoples that
land the thank you page the value of the deal, its can be 10 shirts or 1000 shirts.
Is there's a way to track all the information's but more accurately?
To know each lead that come to our system from where he came from ?
Thank you very much for your help !!
Hi Bruce
Thank you for your answer. What do you think of using Amazon SES instead of mandrill as it's cheaper overall?
We are planning to use Amazon SES for all outgoing emails, Sendy app (sendy dot co) for Newsletter sending and Zendesk for sending support emails.
Thoughts?
Currently i am developing a site that has minor social network features built into it meaning it will sends massive amount of emails everyday. For example,
Autoresponder will send an email when:
I want to ensure that all emails are not ended up in Spam folder, what should i do in this case? IS Mailchimp good enough? It seems pricey in the long run?
Thanks
