DA and PA are modeled somewhat independently, if memory serves, and they aren't scaled against each other (only other metrics of their kind), so it is possible for you to have a DA that's lower than your PA. Typically, that would mean that the majority of your strength is rooted in the home-page, as Martijn said. Unless there's a big discrepancy, it's generally not any cause for alarm.

I look a the general factors of traffic and ranking first. Then I move to pages that receive new visitors. But I also try to monitor the top 100 in the 'pest control' search at US level. Someone said this was irrelevant as it's not how users search. I am curious as to other factors: Webmaster tools for Indexed pages? Traffic? Impressions? Clearly a link warning would be an indicator. So what other tools could indicate how much of an impact updates are having?

Title & Description really get read?<sarcasm></sarcasm> I appreciate the feedback. Very insightful. And it is reassuring to know that titles do help CTR. So I did a little more digging. This is actually a branded term, and it appears that the maps listing is currently in the 2nd position. Which leads to the next potential discovery, ...Does google webmaster tools consider a map listing a rank 1-10? Further investigation of my keywords suggests "Yes". So the map listing is getting a higher CTR than the first position.

No language change on the servers. I know I shouldn't be worried but hey, it's my baby. All grown up and going off to a college of her own now... The upgrade should help with site speed so I am hoping that I might get a boost.

Good example. If there is a business case to do it offline then it should be allowed online.

For me the only goal at the end of the day is to be indexed by Google and Bing as soon as possible. That is happening for me on my WordPress sites without changing any thing with the ping feature built in. So in my opinion adding more pings to more places might get you indexed elsewhere and may help in other places, but if you over ping Google or Bing I could see them not appreciating that. So I don't risk it. Kind of the don't fix what ain't broke mentality for me.

I use GA extra than ever now. To tell you the truth, I felt that I recognize loads approximately internet advertising and marketing. Tips n Tricks no longer helped as you see here on the handheld steam cleaner. The strategy became manner greater vital. So I needed to come "full circle" in my net advertising efforts.

It probably will not help or hurt google looks at each site on an individual basis - tld is not important unless you are talking at about country specific google websites like google.ru for example and having an ru tld.

Weird, what was the area if you don't mind asking. I have seen Facebook be a bit buggy with ads recently, but all the campaigns I have done usually target very large demos and broad groups I don't do niche targeting. My advice is to wait a week, try some new ad creative i.e. new images and what not and see if any changes happen. Or you could even try running the campaign off another account from the business.
