That's great news.... but it wasn't me.  I didn't do anything. It's possible that a competitor complained and they did a deep dive into the images being used by the site. I have a competitor with images similar to mine.  Infringers are often taking images from their site and mine.  This compeitor is extremely aggressive about fighting infringement and they have solved a lot of my problems.  One of the few situations where I have enjoyed having them in my SERPs.

Thanks EGOL this is precisely what I need.  We're all dentists so have all the things you're talking about.  Apart from me - I'm a lawyer - and I figure it's like court.  You can't just say you're something or someone - they want a certain standard of proof. I'm busy getting all the professional bodies and associations pointing at the right people and pages and trying to get my people (who've all been to uni a few times) to write for their universities and members associations so we can get links from them too. I've noticed a bump in search when we use headlines like 'unbiased medical insights into x, y and z' or really play up the qualifications.  'Our orthodontists discuss the best braces treatments' is so much better than just 'buy this and that' Thanks for your help with this. I'm on the right track but will now double down on your suggestions.  Smart people will inherit the SERPS.  Eventually...

Yeah they really suck though. They are mean to patients and do a bad job and overcharge them.  So it's a good thing really.  I sound evil but my team do really beautiful work for fair fees and make hundreds of people a week smile and feel better about themselves.  So every patient I acquire I see as being saved from potential dental disaster at the hands of some incompetent or greedy practitioner.  It's a cool culture. I feel sorry for our competition because I don't ever want to see businesses fail.  But some of them don't deserve to be in business.  Not in 2018.

Hello! Actually, often having more results can sometimes increase the CTR to either result But either way I wouldn't be concerned about CTR in that sense. I would worry again about if users are enjoying your pages once they land on them. You can, however, still work on improving CTR in general to both pages by making your titles and descriptions better - more clicks = more traffic anyway!
