Submitted a Disavow BUT can't send in a RECONSIDERATION, WHY?
If you did not receive a manual action you cannot submit a reconsideration request. If you properly submitted your disavow file all you can do now is wait. And the consensus is it is as you stated related to the next refresh of Google's algo. Hang on to the Google doc though just in case you get a manual penalty in the meantime. It sounds like you have done a good job removing links but one of the biggest mistakes is not to remove all the spam links. It is a good practice to use multiple sources to review your back link profile. In addition to GWT there is OSE, ahrefs and majestic. Some like Link Detox and I had good luck with their tool. You didn't mention how they got there to begin with but hopefully you have fixed that as well. Now just focus on building good natural links going forward and wait for the refresh. You might search "disavow" here as there is a great deal of info. Good Luck!

Should I disallow via robots.txt for my sub folder country TLD's?
Joomla will do that to you To answer your questions: Yes, the use of robots.txt in this case makes sense. You will save some crawling budget that can be spent by Google's bot somewhere else. I would't worry about the WMT errors though - nothing bad can happen if you have them there and if you solve the issue those will go away - no need to spent time on those - it dosen't affect your performance in any way. Hope it helps. Cheers.

Disavowin a sitewide link that has Thousands of subdomains. What do we tell Google?
Google does allow root domains in disavow, but I'm honestly not sure how they would handle this with a mega-site with unique sub-domains like Blogspot. Typically, Google treats these sub-domains as stand-alone sites (isolating their PageRank, penalties, etc.). I tend to agree with the consensus, that the best bet is to disavow the individual blogs, and not the entire root domain. If you're really in bad shape and you have much more to lose from Blogspot links than gain, you could disavow the root domain, but I'm not sure if anyone has good data on the potential impact.

What would be the best way to translate my website for international seo?
To put it simply, the more (decent) content you have, the more opportunites you have to rank for keywords in search.

Fastest Way To Remove Footer Link? (post-Panda)
Unfortuneatly you're in a pickle, and there aren't many good solutions. The first thing I would ask is if you are sure these links are hurting you. Even though they may be 'bad', it's possible Google doesn't see them that way and has passed no filter or penalty. If you determine the links are bad then basically, your options are: Removal Disavow 404 or 410 the URL It's true you need to be careful when using the disavow, but if you've been hit by a penalty or think you've been hit by Penguin and have exhausted all other option, it's generally your best bet. Cheers, Cyrus

Hidden text that's not show in default view, does it hurt my on page optimization?
I don't know if that really matters but I prefer to use z-index to show tabs using css instead of display:none. It makes more sense for me that the tab is under the other, but still there, then just say that it is hidden

Are your customers only coming from the particular city where your data center is? From what I understand, people will sometimes ship servers to a colocation facility outside of their own area - to take advantage of better bandwidth costs / peering, etc. In terms of link building, I would probably go after two types of links: 1. geo links related to your particular city - so, if you're in Dallas, maybe try to get links from other tech related companies in Dallas 2. hosting and colocation links - There should be lots of general information websites related to hosting online. Since those links would be relevant to your business, they should definitely benefit you in trying to rank for colocation and hosting related keywords, even if they are coming from a .co.uk domain, or are on a website listing an international address. If you have several colocation facilities where you do provide hosting services, I would optimize for each of those locations, since a certain group of customers would like to have local access to their data center.

Content and Relevant Links
Guest blogger is a great way to communicate with those in the blog category so I do not mind giving websites link juice. They take time out of their lives to create quality content for us so the least we can do is link back to their site. That is why when we started letting guest blog posting we publish our website's demographic to show bloggers the traffic our blog gets. It would be a shame if I stripped away all their links and publish their content

Getting indexed into Google video search
Hi Colocation, I agree with James; if you are looking fore your videos to be found on your website instead of youtube; I would host them directly on the website. If right now your videos are being found on youtube only, for the mean time, put your website information on the videos description, on the video itself before the video starts and create a channel that has a link to your website. I hope this helps.

Footer Link
Either way would work. You won't get much value out of that third link, but I don't see it hurting you.
