Forum links can be kind of tricky.  Several have a 3 month waiting time for you to be able to have links in your signature, while some require you to just be a member for a while so that they know you can be trusted.  The best place to start would probably be any forums that you actually participate in.  From there I would start searching for industry relevant forums (keyword intitle:"Forums").

I am not aware of any such list. The closest starting point I know of would be http://www.seomoz.org/directories

Once I had a project where my rankings have improved a lot by raising yslow points from 80 to 96. Cms was joomla, the design of my choice was a totally white one, to load fast by itself but even this way adding some extra craft seemed to be benefit. Since then I tend to be concerned about this issue although I haven't done nothing like testing with it since that project. Maybe I'll do again a planned improvement to see again how much to care about these factors. Thanks for the advise.

MY page is a basic html page. I have already rewrited code, there are a handful of dom elemnts, css files sprited etc. PAge load time went from 230 milisec to 500 when I implemented the new features.

You can block on server side all IP except Google bot for any file, but it may lead to ban, because of cloaking.

Good deal - I'll have to check that one out. I've had some issues with caching plugins before, but it really just depends on the individual setup as to which one works best in each instance.

in a year of 2, will you then decide to make the change? only you know that, it is better to do it sooner than later if you think you may. As for leaking link juice, the best guess is 15% going from the original algo google published, every hop lost 15% I dont think they would of changes this much as changing it can mean huge amounts if calulating, I believe they got it right then and it would still be right. If hops did not lose pr, the caculations of PR would be endless.

Another advantage of not having a technology extension is that if you change technologies and go from .html to .asp, you don't have to change all of your URLs and worry about redirects and lost link juice.

How long is the site on number one? There must be tons of sites in hungarie trying to rank for viagra and to only put the name in the domein to rank likes this would be really be great but i think there needs to be something else going on here. I will take a look and get back on this subject later. I just looked to the source code but there is nothing special there. What i do see here is that the second one also only have 54 links to the viagra part of the site. If you trying to rank for it i gues you just have to make your site simple, fast and some links with goods keywords.
