Hey Sean If I were you select all links to "any" and don't exclude anything that way you can do with the data what you please in excel rather than restricting yourself. But I guess it just depends on what your using the data for. Cheers

Yet another Google Plus One question: Does it affect ranking for people that you are NOT connected to?
Would love to know the answer to this. My feeling is that the +1's do make a difference regardless of linkage of profiles.

How to Optimise for Shopping Results
It's partially about your feed file. Make sure that it is filled out completely and accurately. It's also about the user's shopping experience -- reviews, timeliness, complaints, etc. Unrelated, but on Amazon you don't want to create a massive feed and submit it all at once. I would additionally look at this and relate it to "link velocity" -- "product velocity" if you will -- and be sure to always have a positive slope.

Which ecommerce platform is best for SEO?
Interspire Shopping Cart. Built in SEO is excellent! (Though the support are a touch slow in a number of other areas.) With Interspire and a good domain name I get a great number of extremely good rankings on the first page of the SERPS (alongside the likes of Amazon.co.uk) for almost every one of our targeted keywords. Do not overlook this solution, or their hosted version www.BigCommerce.com NOTE: SEO 'GURU' Aaron Wall had some involvement (as a consultant?) in the SEO aspects of Interspire too.

Links from Youtube Channel
Hey Sean, I looked at the cached version of the YouTube channel of BMW ( http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:www.youtube.com/bmw&hl=fr&lr=&sa=G&strip=1 ) and it doesn't seem to have any kind of redirect on this one. You might have seen a redirect because you were logged into your account and looking at your own channel, like when you can edit it, so probably by logging out or by looking at the cached version by Google you should see that it is a plain juice flowing link. Regards, Guillaume Voyer. P.S. Look at http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:www.youtube.com/user/PretavoirUK&hl=fr&lr=&sa=G&strip=1

How does the number of obls on a page affect link juice?
I endorsed Russ's answer because of his technical nuances. Let me put it another way. To put it simply, the value of the link is can be diminished by the number of links on the source page. Unfortunately, there's no easy formula to calculate this. The truth is, different links have different editorial value based upon where they appear on the page. Matt Cutts has famously said to put your most important links towards the top of your content, meaning within the body of text and not in sidebars or footers. Other factors that play into determining the value of a link include the topic of the URL/Root Domain that the link is found on, mozTrust of the site, context of the link, and probably 100's of other factors. We don't know the exact formula, but if we look at the links like humans and ask ourselves "how valuable is this link?" we can usually get a pretty good estimation.

How to relate two sites Domain Authority
Since you were looking to Advertise, I was thinking you were looking for referal clients. In that case is it worth paying for advertising, most SEO companies can get you on good DA sites with a good article submissions. It is mentioned on here a bit that multiple good C-Block DA's help to improve your link juice. So good links on lots of good ranked relativant sites should help your ratings more than a single link on a DA70 that you paid $500 for. I know Australia is a smaller market than UK but have moved all our main keyphrases to page 1 or 2 in a very short time by getting good links from on-topic related sites and getting A's for all of them in on-page optimization.

Subdomains at Yola, Blogger, Wordpress
This is correct, Rand Fishkin actually did a blog post a few years back stating that it is more valuable to have a blog located in the site's sub directory as apposed to a sub domain. So I would assume that if your creating site that will encourage links to it, it would be more beneficial to create it in the subdirectory so that the popularity will be transferred to the master domain.

Ezine articles - worth it with a PA of 1?
Stephen has hit the nail on the head. In order to take advantage of a site's DA, you have to build up the PA and you do that by building links to it. The beauty of it is that you only need a handful of links, then the PA really soars.
