How to regain Facebook Page Authority - For page badly affected with spam users
Good Morning! I feel like it might be important to discuss how you acquired so many "spam" fans in the first place. I assume these fans were not generated naturally? If so, you could prevent this in the future by being more selective in your ad targeting. While the removal process will undoubtedly be slow and might not have a direct impact on the "authority" of your page, it will help increase your organic reach. When you have a high number of disengaged ("fake") fans that do not interact with any of your posts, your organic reach will suffer greatly. However, by cleaning up your fan base and reaching more fans who are actually interested with that you have to say, engagement as a percentage will increase - sending positive signals to Facebook - and your reach will increase because of this. It is always better to have a smaller number of legitimate fans that a high number of disengaged fans just for the sake of having x amount of followers. Happy fans = happy Facebook. Hope this helps!

Quickest way to remove content from Google index?
Ahh, now I understand better what you are asking. So, you still want the same URL indexed, but you want Google to be reflecting the new content. Yes, in this case, I would use Fetch as Googlebot. I would also recommend resubmitting your sitemap. That will help too. Thanks for the clarification! Hope that helps. Dana

An EMD with top level domain of another country. Still useful ?
Hi Vikas, As you know the country specific TLD is a strong hint to Google about the target audience for the site, personally I do not recommend this approach of having a different place in the domain name with an entirely different geo-specific TLD ext. Its confusing for both the visitors and the search engines. Here we have to also look at how important is the user experience factor from search engines point of view and I strongly feel that UX can be a very important factor while ranking a page in Google going forward if its not already one today. Best regards, Devanur Rafi.

Redesigning the site with same Domain (IMP.)
If they have any PR at all you should 301 them to the most appropriate pages or categories and not let them 404. Only 404 junk pages with no matches that have no PR.

Does a blog appearing in diff. categories cause duplicate content?
_Yes it creates internal duplicate content because the same content/article is accessible via different paths and therefore, search engine might find it confusing to determine which page deserves to get visibility in the SERP. So, you need to add noindex, follow Meta tag in the category and tag pages so that these internal duplicate pages do not get indexed by search engines. _

How to Increase +1s for Google plus? Any Ideas ?
IMO, you can do everything including prayer and not get Google+ action. Most people have no idea what it is. SEOs and Google employees are the only people who care about Google+ They will abandon it soon. Spend your valuable time on other work.

Keywords based domains redirecting to a site.. is it SPAM?
Hi Moosa, The answer will vary based on the specific situation. If you buy domains which have backlinks then redirect them to your site in an attempt to pass PR to your site, you are attempting to manipulative search rankings. That is clearly a problem. If you buy keyword domains and put up 1 page sites with the goal of ranking for those terms, then forwarding them to your site, that is also clearly a problem. If your site is SacramentoVacuums.com and you purchase all the local area site names (RanchoCordovaVacuums.com, FairOaksVacuums.com, etc) and redirect them to your site for the possibility of type in traffic, that is not a problem. Even if you purchased 100 such domains...these domains do not have backlinks, they don't have a site, you are not attempting to rank any of them, you are simply trying to gain a bit of extra traffic. If you are concerned, you could always 302 redirect the sites. That would be an unusual implementation, but I do not see any problem with it.

How can a keyword has very low search volume (<10) and high competition?
Because you only pay if they click. There's no reason not to target anything you think could convert.

Site is not ranking for a particular keyword !!
Its a long story, I made few ordinary links then site dropped so had to remove them. After that I made some decent links. Things were still same. I made one good blog link and the site rankings suddenly started rising and for some reason blog was removed and site ranking dropped again.

Is Google caching date same as crawling/indexing date?
Well, based on the following post it seems like that is correct: Quote: When you look at Google's cache of a page (for instance, by using the cache: operator or clicking the Cached link under a URL in the search results), you can see the date that Googlebot retrieved that page. Previously, the date we listed for the page's cache was the date that we last successfully fetched the content of the page. This meant that even if we visited a page very recently, the cache date might be quite a bit older if the page hadn't changed since the previous visit. This made it difficult for webmasters to use the cache date we display to determine Googlebot's most recent visit. Consider the following example: Googlebot crawls a page on April 12, 2006. Our cached version of that page notes that "This is G o o g l e's cache of http://www.example.com/ as retrieved on April 12, 2006 20:02:06 GMT." Periodically, Googlebot checks to see if that page has changed, and each time, receives a Not-Modified response. For instance, on August 27, 2006, Googlebot checks the page, receives a Not-Modified response, and therefore, doesn't download the contents of the page. On August 28, 2006, our cached version of the page still shows the April 12, 2006 date -- the date we last downloaded the page's contents, even though Googlebot last visited the day before. You can find more information about this here: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.no/2006/09/better-details-about-when-googlebot.html
