Brad is right, and adding on to that there might be more than 2 months delay in some cases. Most of mylinks doesn't show up even after 3 months. Best is to check in Google Webmaster and see the latest links made to your site.

RE: Competitor analysis and broken links
That particular competitor might have made the link a while back before the recent Google updates and after the update they might have implemented link removal campaigns removing the links that might harm the site's ranking. OS explorer's data is refreshed once a month, and in some cases more than that. So If you click on those link, they might have been removed already by your competitor.
Hope that helps !

RE: Article distribution do's and dont's
Its not a good idea to submit same article to more than one websites because Google see it as duplicate content and it will do more harm then benefit.

RE: What value am I getting from SEOmoz?
Best is to get arrange a training for yourself or any other staff from some SEO consultant for a day or so. Get the basic understanding of tools, and their benefits so you can use it efficiently in future without any help. Once you have the training you will see that suddenly seomoz will start making lot of sense to you!

RE: Is there a tool to find out our website's link in some other website?
thanks Mark. I think Google method is not a very efficient one. Because when you use that command, Google gives many pages as result which has the anchor text (appearing in random order) in those pages. (In one case, its giving useless results where none of the pages has my site link. )

RE: How many characters will Google read in a header space on a page?
Strange even I haven't heard anything like that! I have heard that there is certain limit to characters of Titles and metas that Google can show in SERP but not about headers! Headers is actually part of the site copy and google crawls the whole site copy anyway.

RE: RSS Feed Scrapping
Yeah as Francisco said, Rel=canonical might be one option. Adding this tag, If multiple url have similar content Google will consider url with rel=canonical. And Google's algo is quite advanced now and when it will crawl your content first, it can assume you are the creator of content and as they crawl other scrapped content, they will know that this content might be scrapped.
So I would also say not to worry too much about it.

RE: .Edu Backlink wrapped in Wiki
Well as PA=1 and its not very relevant it might not help boost your ranking in one day but it is still good to get that link. After the recent updates, things have changed. Today, its good to have mix profile of follow and no follow link. Further, its contributing to overall number of links to your domain. Its not a spam link for sure, so your site wont be harmed by this link but it will increase the diversity of your overall back link profile. So I would say there is no problem in such a link.
Hope that helps !

Is there a tool to find out our website's link in some other website?
sometimes we know our site link is there on a site but the site is so big its hard to search manually. Is there any tool which can crawl the whole site and find the page having our site link ?
though I know about OSE, and we can also see backlinks from webmaster tool. But still if you know any tool where instead of seeing the whole back link profile, we can add a specific url and see our site link in that url.

RE: Keywords based domains redirecting to a site.. is it SPAM?
I understand your point, Ryan. I also understand that Google itself recommend 301 redirect from one domain to another in genuine cases. so yeah you made a valid point (just that your answer was bit aggressive but I still appreciate your help. thanks!).
Ok To be specific in my case- its in house, we already have two existing EMDs (not developed as sites) and we are planning to permanently redirect them to another EMD (even though it is EMD but still it will be developed as a proper brand site.).
So i guess you reckon its ok to do so?

RE: Keywords based domains redirecting to a site.. is it SPAM?
Agree with you Moosa! Google has clearly mentioned that - "Google frowns on practices that are designed to manipulate search engines and deceive users by directing them to sites other than the one they selected" - Google
So ofcourse redirecting 100s of them is definitely not a good idea!

for seomoz it wont anyway because its very high authority domain too high to be effected by these small things!

RE: Keywords based domains redirecting to a site.. is it SPAM?
Are you sure? I heard a while back that some people spam by buying EMDs and then use their natural traffic by redirecting it to their main site. So Google started seeing it as spam technique.
how about - ex: sportsshoes.com, shoes.com, leahershoes.com all redirecting to a site (which is also EMD!) ?
