Keyword Research for country not listed by Google
Hi, Please let us know the country, it may be easier to help you. Did you already check if the country is included in Bing's keyword tool? I am sure there is a tool that includes this country, if there isn't you could try it with google suggestions, not a very good solution though..

Urgent advice required on price for consulting job
If you don't have concrete requirements, you are right do it hourly as scope creep will eat up a fixed budget quickly. Some of the tasks have different market rate ranges (based on what Cole/William stated)--but if you are comfortable at $50 an hour and have capacity, go for it.

Time taken for Google Algorithm updates to show affect in Middle East?
It depends on the algorithm. Some algorithms are global, some are just for the US or other specific countries. Here in the Philippines, it used to take a year until we get some sort of change from an update. Now, they don't really announce the update. Sometimes we see it the day right after the release, sometimes, it's 3 months behind.

Should I accept a lower role than what I applied for?
Hello Lumina, ahsan88 & Zippy-Bungle, First accept my apology for not responding on your contributions earlier than today. Just got very busy with family. Actually I did reply to the thread from my phone but the answer didn't get updated. Anyways... the updates are that I thought well in light of your answers and I decided to push back politely. I contacted my interviewer saying something like... 'I was hoping to get some feedback on my interview earlier ... and that I was actually offered a different position". I added her on Linkedin and sent her an message from there (I had her email but i hadn't taken it from her personally so I thought it would be impolite to land in her mailbox). Well... She never replied back to me. I waited a week and (12 days to get an answer from the HR guy) and eventually sent an email to the HR person to get a status update on our last conversation. Its been 4 days now and he too never got back to me. I don't know what to think about it... but I do know that it is not professional to say absolutely nothing in response to an email etc. Anyways... my job hunt continues and hopefully I will find one... someday... hopefully soon. Thanks again for your valuable answers and I truthfully appreciate them all the more because I think its great of you guys to have taken out time to reply on a question which was more of a personal nature. Peace to all, Regards, Talha

Pages with a short life time... example Flash Sales Ecommerce Sites?
Hello Ahalliday, First... apology for the delay. Thankyou very much for the answer you have put here... it makes sense for sure. If I may put an extension to the problem... what about at the architecture level. I do not want to cause indexation bloat... so I only want the right pages indexed and not all of them... so I want to put a policy in place for rel=nofollow OR exclusion with Robots.txt and I also need to clarify some rel=cannonical stuff. Attached is an image of the architecture I have in mind. Let me know what you think about it. Regards, Talha edit?usp=sharing

URGENT - How to Present New Site Architecture to Development team for implementation
Don't no-follow your navigation links, there is no benifit anymore to trying to sculpt pagerank in such a manner anymore. The potential link juice is 'spent' on the link regardless if it is sollowed or not, it's just that no-followed sites don't recive it. Save no-follow only for when your linking to sites you would not want to be assossiated with. If you want pages out of the index, use meta noindex as opposed to robots.txt. I would index your login page so people who are googling for it can find it. On member profiles it would depend if they are reasonably valuable content or no. If it's 99% duplicated content then I would consider no-indexing them. If they have bios and such, then it's probably fine to leave them indexed.

What is the highest conversion rate you have achieved? URGENT... Community please help!!!
Hello Keri, Thank you for your response. Keri I totally agree that this is really subjective stuff. I just wanted to know what conversion rates - SEOs in our community here generally achieved in say 6 months time. And generally, what percentage of over all visits for your clients is made up of SEO visits (both organic and social). So... can you tell me what conversion rate you generally achieve in 3 months and 6 months for a client and what percentage of overall visits do SEO visits make by the 3rd and 6th month. This info will be very helpful for me in the sense that I will take ur experience and myown experience into consideration and with a possible coonversion rate in mind (which I will decrease to be on the safe side) I would be able to give a very rough forecast to the client. I do appreciate your inpur Keri... thanks again... and thanks for the link... I have learnt from it and it is great. take care Cheers

How to check a website's architecture?
CodeAcademy also recently introduced free online coding classes that you can check out - it may be a good way to apply the learnings from your readings. It takes practice and dedication - and repetition - to learn coding. You have to train yourself to properly apply the code. HTML and CSS are the best places to start, then move onto PHP http://www.codecademy.com/courses/html-one-o-one
