Although EGLO is right! The DA and PA has nothing to do with your website rankings and I literally seen examples where a website with more DA and PA are ranking lower than the one with less DA and PA.

But if you want theory why your DA is stuck to one place or has gone down so the easiest answer to this will be because of the Moz.com’s index update.

I believe this usually happens when the website have more Domain Authority then you have plus more social shares on that particular post then you have and more importantly when they have more links pointing to that post then you have!
In order to prevent this thing, I would advise you to do the following things..

-          Plan a Social Sharing strategy before you hit the publish button

-          Plan an Outreaching strategy before the post go live so that you can earn some quick links.

-          Build your domain authority on Regular basis

-          Use Author tag!

This might help you stay on the safer side!

In my personal opinion redirecting keyword rich domain to the main domain is not a bad idea but if you are going to flood it on home page and all the targeted pages then you will be in the sure trouble because Google does not like the idea of using this for ranking boost!

This might end up getting a penalty from Google!

I guess there are many different free and paid ways of doing this you can do it manually or with the help of a tool as well... (lot of choices) but you have to take some pain to remove it no matter what and how much you spend...

I agree with sir here as most people consider these URLs are spammed but yeah normally good shorten URLs are 302 so there is no impact of it on the original URL you want your audience to land on!

As far as the specific referrals are concern i prefer keeping my mouth shut but I believe companies in the recommended list of Moz are almost the celebrities of search so i thought it will be a good idea to come up with that list!

In my opinion, it is a good idea to get expert opinion about your site. There are many reputable professionals within in the Moz community that can do this job for you!

Marie Haynes is indeed expert in this area; there are others available like Alan Beliweiss who is famous for his expert level site audits.

I don’t see any need of another website targeting another location... absolutely no need of it! You can go with the same website and handle the English version either in subdirectory or sub domain.

You can also set the IP tracking so if someone is coming to your website from other parts of the world then Mexico they will see the English version of it and if people are coming from Mexico they will see the Spanish version of it...

as in the m. version for mobile users only? i would say its not a bad idea but you have to be very smart when redirecting URLs based on the device.

If you ask me what i would have done if i was facing the similar scenario, i will go for a responsive website as its a one solution for all devices and different size screens.

Ok, the pages that are obsolete for your company should be 301 redirected to the pages that still contain importance for your company. This will not only redirect the visitor’s to the pages that are valid for you but also shift the link juice (authority) for your business.

Due to the Increase in authority valid pages (guides) will more likely to get better visibility in Google!

If you personally ask me the kind of keywords you are targeting and in against of that the kind of links you are building are not very powerful (if not bad). I think you need to work much more hard on building quality links that point back to the website. Try to get some contextual links from within the content of relevant websites (I believe travel would be a good niche) in that case.

Keywords that you are going to add in the section of branded keywords will be appear under the braded keywords banner i don’t think they have the algorithm to detect the variations of the brand name and add under the braded keywords column automatically!

My answer is based on my experience as a user but I guess any staff member can help you better in this regard!

Hey Linda this is first time for me too but I knew few people from the speaker panel and they are more than just great!

Jessy is right... check other signals like traffic, rankings and quality links if they are going as you want them to be then dont care much about DA!

I lost 3 actually but when i look at other blogs I see this happens to all and I am not the only one!

Ideally just by changing the title tags the index should not be dropped but if this is something you have noticed, you can always update your sitemap.xml and resubmit it to Google and in the next crawl it should be indexed again.

Agree with Chris... if you have the FTP and you can log in to the website then just add a new webmaster tool and verify it accordingly to become the owner!

I completely read every word of your description and i would say it actually is a good idea but its a long term game and you have to decide how much dip in traffic you can afford because once you are going to change the keywords the traffic that was coming from previous keywords will fall down and new keyword (as its new) might not send you any traffic at all.

If you can afford to loos traffic then this is a perfect idea to change the keywords and start optimizing fir links! But if you can’t in that case you should content marketing plan first and then slowly move towards the change!

If I would be at your place I would have created another page that should target the new keywords and start getting quality links to that page until it start ranking for the particular keyword. Once it will be on the desired position, I will then slowly change the content of the home page and redirect that page to the home page so that all link juice can be transferred to home page... This will also hit traffic negatively but the dip will not be as serious as it can go if you do it without doing this!

Ok, I think the idea of spinning the content is rubbish so don’t ever try that!

I think what you can do with these 3 domains is to use one as a blog and one is for images (infographics) and last is for community interaction.

1. Blog: You are already sharing the information; all you have to do is to continue doing the same thing without coping the same or relatively similar information on other domains.
2. Infographics: On 2^nd domain try to design infographics and make it go live there, this will allow you to get tons of links as well as the audience who love information within images.
3. QnA Section: Try to use the 3^rd domain as a QnA section where people can ask and answer questions. This will help the community to stay around your brand and when you company with a brand website this three websites will help you generate lots of traffic and sales at the same time.
