Finding writers with author rank
Hi Mark Currently there isn't anything out there that will list a G+ profile by Author Rank specifically (or an estimation of one), but there are a couple of tools that might help. First is Author Crawler, which is best explained on the website. Second is FindPeopleOnPlus. This can let you search for profiles by keyword, industry they work in, job title and so on - as well as letting you sort by circle count. Naturally, one would assume that people with greater circle size might have a higher author rank, and then a quick google search for their name ("By First LastName") will show you if they regularly use author markup, which again would theoretically increase their author rank. Hope this helps.

Massive decreases in traffic
Have you review your backlinks in Open Site Explorer? Some of them look a little fishy, especially the ones for kriskris with the anchor text "lose weight fast" from sights that are mainly in Chinese and also have links to viagra and other such sites (http://www.xshz.com.cn/shownews.asp?id=220 for example).

Leverage other peoples author rank for your site?
Yes, just ask them to add your website in the “Contributor To” section of their Google Plus profiles and you are done. However, I would love to read this post before you make any such decision – http://seo2.0.onreact.com/google-authorship-markup-disadvantages-everybody-ignores

Creating the best content in your industry
I agree with Mike Davis. I ranted on about the need to hire professional writers in a post earlier this week.. Many of my clients are themselves subject matter experts and professional writers. I just point them in the right direction and do some editing as we come up with an editorial calendar. It's not unlike what I did as a magazine editor. And, yes, it's important to be accurate. That shouldn't have to be said -- but it does. You'll never know how much business you lost because a prospect concluded you don't know what you're talking about. Getting people to commit to producing content? I agree it's very difficult. Here's a radical suggestion on how to succeed: pay them. I know, I know -- this is deeply shocking....especially if we are talking about non-writers already on staff at a company. Of course, you need high level support to make this happen. But a $1,000 or $2,000 one-time writing bonus can work really well.

Author Rank - Using the brand as the author
I think that they could post article under your account/name... so when they leave.. it's yours... it is to build up your authorship, not theirs..

Penalty for on-page optimizing too many pages?
Yes your keywords are certainly related to one another, but each deserve their own post. So why not pick your primary keyword and two secondary target keywords and put them in the post. Then use your secondary keywords as links to your other posts about those keywords. Increase the amount of juice, cover your bases, and be relevant. Just a suggestion.

Best Practices For Keyword Optimization
Hi, Like some mentioned in their answers, you should mix and match. I would use the keyword that you want to rank for in the end (the competitive keyword) as URL and Titles and use the less competitive keywords in the content. If you use the keywords you don't want to rank for in the end in your URL and etc., once the website has been around and start getting daily visitors, I don't think you want to change the URL to the more competitive keyword.

Getting backlinks without content marketing
We have helped many customers achieve TOP 5 rankings without ever using content marketing! In fact, there are many other powerful linkbuilding strategies like : blog commenting on quality blogs with dofollow comments forum posting on area specific forums with incontent links social bookmarking directories preferably good quality one and done manually of course Of course, you might say, this is so old style SEO! And I would have to agree with you, but guess what? they still work quite well even on highly competitive keywords when done properly. Anyway, good luck to you.

Dynamically change anchor text and URLs remotely
I want to create a widget, distribute it, and once it spreads or goes virals have the ability to change the anchor text and URLs which link back to my site remotely. As for search engines i don't see any issue in doing this - because there's nothing wrong with it and its definitely not blackhat. More being Smart. Plus its designed to boost authority, and build the brand rather then individual keywords.

Cool interactive games to teach link building
I'm thinking about a game which i bring in a string which represents all the traffic for a particular vertical (e.g. car insurance). And place it in the middle of the table. Then the people around it will get into groups of 4 (representing websites) and think of content/creative ideas or ways to bring that traffic to them (organic traffic) What do you guys think?

Benefits and cons of hosting video content vs hosting via youtube
Hi Monster99, It's a great question. As with anything is SEO/Life it depends on a few factors. Here are the main pros & cons of both.. Hosted Pros *** Others sites will link directly to your domain, when linking to a video* You have greater control over the videos, i.e. no ads, recommend videos etc ** Cons *** Cost * Technical Setup ** Embedded Pros *** If you're a less well known brand, can help your video get shared* Can help build your You Tube Channel * It's free!* Very quick to setup** Cons *** Websites tend to link to You Tube* You can have ads shown* Shows other peoples related video ** If you're just starting out and you're not making very unique linkable content, I'd go with the embed option. Hope that helps Iain - Reload Media

Keywords and On-Page Optimization
Thank you for your response, i'm going to focus on creating a single page of content for all the keywords terms. And address all the queries on the same page. If i created individual pages, i would be creating very similar content. So it wouldn't really make much sense to create separate pages since each query can be logically covered on a single page. Also it would be much better for anchor diversification, and efficiency reasons to create just a single page. My only concern is the on-page benefits of creating individual pages vs. creating a single page for all the keywords.

Www & non-www URL Issue
I guess you just have to check it manually. Though your question is not very clear. What you should be more careful is how you should do 301 url redirect from non www version to www version.
