No we are not the Brighton College in the UK, we are the one in Vancouver, BC, so I think you have our business info mixed up lol. We are a private career college so 3 - 18 is definitly not our target LOL!
We do need more reviews though, i am waiting for the verification card from Google because I just merged the google local and google places accounts. So i was planning on getting more reviews after its verified.

Could someone tell me what this is called?
And how do I get our college on here?

I'm getting a wee bit frustrated. I have looked at every blog post I can about merging Google Local and Google Business Pages and I can't figure it out. I already have a verified Google Local page here https://plus.google.com/107404063103285095864/about?gl=CA&hl=en-CA and a Google Business Page here https://plus.google.com/b/100116630212547145177/100116630212547145177/posts . Both are already verified. How do I merge these existing profiles which are already verified?
Great question! I would love to hear answers as I have a similar situation.
My suggestion would be to sign up for Google Local (make sure to merge Google Places and Google Plus) and have each driver verify the location by having Google send confirmation to their home. You can opt to not show the address on the Local page. This will make it so your company shows up on Google Local and Google Maps for each location where each driver lives.

Just wondering, do pingbacks in Wordpress help or harm SEO? Or neither?
Thank you so much for providing such an in depth answer. I actually didn't realize we had SEomoz perks! It seems everyone here agrees that a Wordpress host is the best option. When I started with Bluehost I was happy with their service but over the past couple years I have become more and more frustrated.
I think I might take you and everyone elses advice and go with WPEngine.

Great thread! I just submitted one with Marketwire, it was much cheaper and I know they have strong contacts. i will likely use PR web next time and I'll let you know which I found better.
I think it also depends on your industry and what you are looking to get out of the press release. Marketwire is great for Canadian offline media distribution if that's what you're looking for.

I have a ton of websites on Bluehosts servers... are my sites slow because I have so many sites on there? Or is Bluehost slow for everyone?

I know is this is a bit of an old strategy, but what do you think about building social profiles (blogger, tumbler, wordpress, etc) with a keyword in the url for link building and SEO? Outdated strategy? Unnatural? Has it worked for you recently?
