Yeah. I believe it was Ian Lurie @ Portent who said "FB needs to hire this guy"

RE: Since when did Google get case sensitive?
Nope. It doesn't do this at all. Might I suggest you run your searches over again and be sure to de-personalize your results.
Hint: add the code &pws=0 to the end of your Google Search URL string.

RE: Duplicate content
Yes it definitely matters.
You're using Wordpress? You need an SEO plugin to help with these issues. Look into installing Yoast. It should clean up your duplicate content issues. Google it + duplicates for more info. I personally don't use Wordpress much but do have a small amount of experience with it and Yoast.
Good luck!

RE: Robots.txt
Yeah that's definitely a duplicate content issue you're facing.
However, did you know that each of your pages have this little tag right at the top of them? name="robots" content="noindex" />
...Seems like it's already done.

RE: Rel=canonical Notice
Nope, doesn't need to be fixed. There's nothing wrong with this practice, especially for a Wordpress site (imo).
The notices that moz tools are giving you are just that - to make you aware that those canonical tags exist. They aren't warnings or errors, just notices to draw your attention to canonicals in case you ever wanted to look into them or ensure they were correct.

RE: If our site hasn't been hit with the Phantom Update, are we clear?
The thing is a lot of so-called "SEOs" these days are still using these types of tactics. I'm dealing with this regularly. And the real kicker is, sometimes blackhat SEO works. But in every instance it is temporary. Meaning no matter what that algorithm is going to catch up with those sites sooner or later.
So while yes they should have known better, there's a pretty good chance they think they can sneak past the Penguins and the Pandas out there.
Nonetheless this is a dying art and hopefully all of these "SEOs" go away soon so that us real marketers can maintain (or re-build) our reputation.
You're incredibly welcome for the input. Keep an eye on your Webmaster Tools account and your rankings. If you notice a penalty or things start to shift dramatically, it's time for a re-submission package. Should that day come, hop on these forums, read the moz blogs, and this community will help you through it.

RE: Since when did Google get case sensitive?
No, definitely not. Either clear your cache CONSTANTLY or do as I said and de-personalize your results. Can't stress this enough. Cookies track your tendencies and skew your SERPs.

RE: Ranking dropped significantly
Yeah I didn't mean it was simple to recover, but simple to discover rather. I'm well aware of the difficulties, believe me.

RE: Site not coming up even when I search with the .com
Okay couple things here:
1.) This site does not have any redirects in place. There are essentially duplicates of ever page existing for the www and non-www versions respectively. This is a problem that should be addressed immediately.
2.) What are the target keywords? Because looking at the shady back-link profile it would seem that this is a site that sells Propranolol without a prescription. There are TONS of backlinks coming into this site with that in the anchor text. Did your client ever use this domain for something else or buy it from someone else?
3.) Check Google's Webmaster Tools. I'm willing to bet that there is a unnatural link penalty notice sitting in there. Penguin will hit a site like this, but usually won't remove it entirely. This site looks like it has a manually imposed penalty looming. It's a bit of a disaster and if it were my site and I were the photographer I'd consider finding a new domain name and starting over.
4.) Out of curiosity, when you say "we have a customer.." what exactly do you mean and what kind of business do you work for? What is your specialty? That I'm just wondering to satisfy my own curiosity and you're welcome to disregard this question.
Hope this helps.

RE: Rankings reporting showing inaccurate improve/decline/unchanged numbers
Not sure about the first part, but the Keyword allotment is setup across all campaigns. Therefore if you have 172 in one campaign and 200 in another and 203 in another and so on, they all count towards your grand-total.
As for the "inaccurate numbers" I'm not sure what you mean... But maybe what I explained is factoring into it??

RE: Anchor text is a url, but not the one I want?
I'd be more worried about the second part of your question. If there are thousands of links coming from one domain, you could be in trouble. Try to scale this number down into double digits if you can...
The domain itself.. that's weird and I would want to fix it for branding issues (I'm assuming you are expecting traffic via this link, right?) so people should know where they are going and not be shocked when they get somewhere else. This is more of a reputation/marketing/branding issue than an SEO issue, but SEO is marketing anyway. RIGHT?!

RE: Site explorer Issue
OSE does a good job but is not complete.
Consider mixing it with ahrefs.com or Majestic.. always GWT but that won't work for competitors backlinks.
(although honestly I'd worry less about what directories you're linked from and where your competitors backlinks are coming from and more about what kind of engaging content you are able to pump out)

RE: Site not coming up even when I search with the .com
One last thing.. Consider this for your search query's URL: http://www.google.com/search?&q=camilojosevergara.com&pws=0
The &pws=0 at the end is very important for any SEO who wants to see real SERPs

RE: Can someone explain the attached on page error message?
So I'm not sure how dudamobile works in this regard (although I am currently developing a site through their service so this is relevant to my interests) but I do know how canonical tags work.. In looking at the page in question I'm seeing two different canonical tags. One points to the desktop page and the other points to the mobile page. This is a mistake and will prevent either page from being indexed, just as this warning from dudamobile reads. (*PROPS to dudamobile for catching these types of things!)
I can't see the source for your mobile page as it automatically redirects me to the desktop version when I try to access it but basically you want that one to canonical to the desktop site and the desktop site to canonical to itself (or nothing, really.)
But by no means should you canonical the desktop version to the duplicated mobile version of the same page and vice versa. This will cause neither page to be listed in SERPs.
Hope this helps!

RE: Redirect the main site to keyword-rich subfolder / specific page for SEO
Question 1: No! Why not just create the internal page and have it target the specific keyword? Your homepage is your brand, not a product/service page. Those are internal. They will rank for whatever you are targeting (if your SEO campaign is strong). Why are you worried about what your homepage ranks for?
Short answer: No. Make internal product/service pages targeting specific keywords and do not redirect your home page.
Question 2: Huh? Those two examples seemed exactly the same to me. Are you asking why some pages will show a sub directory and some pages will show the html page in the URL? If so, it's all in your structure. It doesn't really matter which way you wanna do it but having multiple directories may give you the opportunity to attach keyword targets such as "example.com/services/stuff-i-do.html" as opposed to "example.com/stuff-i-do.html"
The former example will bring the word "services" into your string.. IF you are trying to get your page to just read "example.com/services" then just create that directory and drop an index page in.
Hope this answers your questions or at least comes close.

RE: Site not coming up even when I search with the .com
good catch on the body tag. not sure that would cause google to ignore all else but i'd be curious to know this..
As for the lack of redirects, I didn't mean to imply that this would be causing the site to not be indexed. I meant that as a separate issue I noticed when briefly researching the site.
Just wanted to clear that up. Nonetheless, it should be dealt with. While Google can differentiate which site to index, it most definitely splits up your link juice and causes diminished PR/DA.

RE: What's my best strategy for Duplicate Content if only www pages are indexed?
Well the reason Google has picked the www version as it's preferred version automatically is most likely because of all the links you mentioned that were already pointing to that iteration of your domain. Google can figure this out on their own. That said, it still sees both of the sites (non www and www) as duplicates of each other. Best practice is to 301 one to another.
I've waged this war with a programmer before so I know how it goes. The one I dealt with didn't think there was any reason and told me all websites work that way. So I asked him to go to http://google.com and tell me how it resolves. Repeat that step with every major brand you can think of until he/she gets the point and that might help you.

They should be able to 301 this one time, no matter whether they're using an Apache or IIS server. This should be a quick fix. If they're unsure how to do it, have them Google "IIS 301 redirects" if it's a Windows server or "htaccess 301" if it's a Linux/Apache server.
