How to 301 a domain to an addon domain? Domain structure is as follows:

http://addondomain.maindomain.com/

http://www.maindomain.com/addondomain/

http://www.addondomain.com/   <--(addon domain has its own domain as well)

I want main domain to all point to the addon domain like so:

http://www.maindomain.com/   -->  http://www.addondomain.com/

A little more information needed here... can you visit those pages in your browser?  If not, what error shows up?

Opensite explorer isn't updated instantly.  It also isn't all encompassing (but it's getting there!).  Give it time.  I use google analytics to track where my traffic is coming from as it is the best way to see who is linking to you.

'We build pages' does some good work.  You get what you pay for though.

On my site my homepage acts as sort of a landing page that is geared towards getting the customer sign up (almost like a PPC landing page aside from a few navigation options...about, blog, contact and the legal docs in the footer).  My blog is geared towards other businesses in the industry and the like minded tech people.

My problem: 
From a user perspective I don't feel that blog snippets would add anything useful to the homepage.  However, I feel like I fresh content would help my SEO endeavors.  Suggestions?

Note:
Should be mentioned that all my social stuff is deeply integrated into my /blog so importing tweets, for example, is out of the question.

Do the appropriate 301 redirects for each page.  Grit your teeth as you take a small hit.  Then watch http://www.seomoz.org/webinars/what-signals-could-make-you-a-brand-in-google

Hostgator has the best customer service around.  They have great reliability too as far as uptime goes.  Not sure if they do design but they do offer reseller packages.
