Does more high traffic to your website increase your rankings?
More important than traffic volumne is what users do on the site and the build of that site. In recent times some of the metrics shown to have affect are: bounce rate, site speed and user engagement.

Seomoz toolbar - nofollow?
The nofollow meta tag can be seen from the MozBar's Analyze Page > Page Attributes. At the top the Meta Robots field will show the tag information. Nofollow attributes added to individual links can be seen from the MozBar using the Highlight Links or Text button (a pen icon located next to the Analyze Page button). Simply select "nofollow" and all visible links on a page will appear highlighted in pink.

Any pointers for my site would be greatly apprecieated and rewarded.
1. You do not need the keywords meta tag at all. I've been working on this one. 2. The description should be in sentence form, not a list of keywords. It should be written as a 1-2 sentence sales pitch. Working on this as well for products as well as the home page. 3. You can put your brand name at the end of the title tag to give more weight to the keywords. Just keep it under 70 characters so it doesn't get cut off. Will that really give more weight to the keywords? If so then why? 4.You have a bit of CSS and JS in the source code. Get that into an external file. I will let my client know to do this, but what are the benefits? 5.The canonical tag is missing. I thought this was for only duplicate content? 6. Maybe you want to use some social sharing buttons, and include the FB open Graph meta tags (i see you have them on the blog, that's good) You really think I need them on the home page as well? Should I include the open graph meta tag on all pages or just one?

Is using "-" in the title of a page to seperate targeted keywords bad for seo purposes?
I've seen keywords separated with - and | and even >, and in my opinion, the separator you use shouldn't affect search rankings. It may have an impact on click through rates within any given search engine result page, so you should try to find the one that is most visually appealing. Also, in general I like to try to be a bit more creative than "KEYWORD1 | KEYWORD2 | KEYWORD3 - SITENAME". In my opinion, something like "KEYWORD1 and KEYWORD2 Tips and Advice, at SITENAME" is much better. It feels less spammy, and I'm convinced results in a higher CTR. I think most people are trending this way, lately: considering the user a bit more than the search engines. I don't think you could have said the same thing a few years back.

How do I set up a 301 redirect if the default settings for our web servers create multiple URLs for the same page?
So the server will only let us edit a single page no matter how many URL's it has.

Does using tags instead of " " good for SEO purposes?
You can see that from the W3schools article I linked above: "Even if works in all browsers, writing instead is more future proof." HTML worked with the idea that certain tags could be opened but did not need to be closed such as the and tags. The XHTML standard requires all tags be closed. As I understand the idea, it's just a better means of presenting that every tag is closed. Functionally there is currently no difference BUT it can lead to different behaviors in various browsers if you use invalid code.

Hi Jake! This sounds more like a question for the help desk as it may be a bug. Email them at help@semoz.org with this question, and they'll get back to you.
