Blog for content
Hi there, To reiterate some things that have been said here: You want to remove / move away from Blogspot and Wordpress blogs that are hosted on .blogspot.com / .wordpress.com. Very few people would ever recommend using Blogspot even for a self-hosted blog - Wordpress is very much superior. Using a Blogspot domain does not give you a boost in Google's rankings, so do not worry about losing out because of that. You also want to remove the duplicate content problem - as is linked to above, Google dislikes duplicate content and will filter out one "version" of the identical content. A query like this one shows that Google has indexed the content on your blogspot blog - if you click to see additional results in that results page, you will see that the way the blogspot blog is set up is absolutely terrible when it comes to duplicate content as well. Google has found 101 versions of the same sentence. The content appears to be drawn into the URL dynamically - the actual text of the post is not visible in the source code of the page, but the entire blog appears to be readable from any blog post URL - all you have to do is scroll up and down. You really need to remove this blogspot blog and work solely on your own site, but if this blog is currently bringing you traffic, then this is going to be tough. Blogspot does not have a native method for 301 redirecting an old blog to a new location. There are a range of options for redirecting visitors at a page level, but I am relatively sure that there is no server-level redirect option yet.

Specific external links
The Open Site Explorer indexed is completely refreshed every few weeks, and currently consists of 105 billion links. While that's quite a large data set and mostly comparable with other indexes in the space, it's still only a fraction of the links on the web and only a portion of the links Google undoubtedly knows about. The way OSE finds links is that it prioritizes pages with lots of inbound links and links it found during previous crawls. Because BBB pages are often found deep-deep-deep under layers of navigation and usually don't have a lot of external links pointing to them, they aren't easy pages for crawlers to find on a regular basis. BBB has an especially difficult site architecture, and sadly this issue comes up a lot with that particular site We're working on including more historical data in the index, so that even if we didn't crawl the link in the past two weeks, we'll still include it if we are reasonably confident it still exist. This will help alleviate some of these concerns. The good news (or bad depending on how you look at it) is that while OSE doesn't show every link, it tends to show the majority of the most valuable links. Regardless, thanks for the feedback and best of luck with your SEO.

DA of External Link Sites
DA/PA are Moz metrics, not used by any of the big search engines. Although there is a correlation between DA/PA and "good" links, it is not enough of a metric to go by. There are plenty of high DA/PA sites whose backlink would be considered "bad" because of the content (e.g. its a blog network, lots of spam, malware, etc). I would try to get any link from any "real" website, no matter the DA/PA. There are plenty of good new sites who haven't had the time to build up a strong DA/PA but a backlink from them would still be beneficial to have. So if you are unsure about a site, visit it to see how legitimate it is.

Pinterest and Link Juice
Check out GWT and the links should be showing there. Google's got just a slightly bigger server farm than we have, and is able to crawl more of the web. Let your client know that while it's great for OSE to see the links and for the links to be counted in the score we give, your real goal is to have the search engines count those links, and that's what matters. We haven't been able to convince the search engines to ditch their metrics and use ours yet.

Meta separators
It's true that you can use almost all the separators you mentioned - though some sources suggest to avoid using underscores. The thing to keep in mind is that overuse of separators is typically going to indicate that your title contains a number of terms that don't flow together in normal human spoken/read language - which could be interpreted as keyword stuffing. Try to create titles that have your keywords but also are natural language. For example on my events site we use titles like this that successfully grade well for the keywords we target: Depeche Mode tickets in London at The O2 on TUE, Nov 19, 2013 — 7:30PM. Certainly could've used more separators, but it wasn't necessary simply to avoid short words like "at" and "on".
