I ran that but it only told me about what links the page had going out from it now coming in. After just checking tons of links I found it but for future reference I would still like a more efficient way.

The 301s were not right, but we fixed 99% of them in early December. I did double check them this week. Not sure what else to look for.

I can't do the url but I have access to everything. Traffic is up since that happened, it hasn't hurt us at all. No landing pages have lost traffic. We got a completely new site in early November, is this just that site going away and being replaced with the new one?

If you can export all of the URLs you want to check into a list, there's a few tools you can import them to to check the response code. I think Screaming Frog does this, but a web-based solution which is quick to use is this one by Tom Anthony.  You can also define what user agent you want it to test as. All your 301s will come up listed just as that, same for 302s, 404s etc.

Yes, you do need to redirect. They are actually different URLs. It's like you moved from 123 Fifth Avenue to 123 Fifth Street.

I would say most likely yes. US sites still show internationally so if your main target audience is in the U.S I would keep that as the target rather than risk anything. All the best.

Hi Niners72, I agree with Mark. But I would also try to ensure that you are providing a relevant yet unique title tag for each of  your pages where possible (you can focus on the ones that are top level then work through as when you have the time-if you have a large site) as these can help to improve Click Through Rate also as well as the description (which needs to be within the 156 limit).

The blog is not just for linkbuilding, It will have articles for natural links, but will also be used as a way to communicate with current customers.

Hi there, Thanks for zen like patience working with me during the holidays.  Let's dig in!  I am glad that you were more satisfied with my recent answer, I am sorry that wasn't more of a expert of JS to help you alleviate the problem. JS has been historically a hard language to parse and crawl, so these are some of Roger's growing pains and I can understand that it can be a frustrating experience.  Like I mentioned, some of the reasons that your site only returned the minimum amount of links was due to embedded JS links inside the I-Box, which our crawler will not crawl in that environment because it sees the links as images rather than standard html links.  Usually if you want a view of how Roger crawls your site, I recommend turning off JS to see what your site actually looks like Limitations like this one is why we offer a month long trial so if customers run into problems we can have time to alleviate it before it actually bills.  Hope that helps! My robots, tags and redirects are all good now. Any other things to look at?

The site has been around for over 10 years, and we do not have any noindex. I am starting to see it drop but two months seems like a long time to start seeing changes.

That is what I figured but I am still showing over 5k duplicates for titles and meta descriptions

Sit back and relax knowing it is out of your control.

Its not going to harm your website but if you really want fix it out then put "noindex" meta robot tag into those pages ( 4th option).

Do you mean URL wise, or content wise? Google isn't going to penalize you for offering a relevant page to your customers.  Just don't overdo it with your content.  i.e. don't do this: Company X has tons of Widgets for sale!  In fact, we have the best price on our widgets for sale, and will beat any other company with widgets for sale! For example, if you are a Jaguar car dealership you are going to have to reiterate that you are actually selling Jaguars, and not just talking about them.  So, you will need to additional contextual clues of phrases like "for sale" and "to purchase."  Otherwise you might just appear as an informational site, and not an e-commerce site.
