Local SEO company
From a purely technical perspective, there's no reason that I can think of. I can, however, think of some business, relationship, and link building reasons. Greater understanding of the geographic area and nuances. Working in Lancaster, PA, for instance, I've seen some seriously weird phrases that people use (and search for) idiomatically. Potentially stronger (or already existing) local relationships for link building, both in terms of local business relationships as well as with local niche sites and authorities (e.g. newspapers). Face-to-Face might, potentially, offer more accountability. I guess this one depends very strongly on the company you're dealing with, but you could make the argument that an SEO would develop a better understanding of your business if they meet you. I can also think of some downsides, like lack of talent in your area. Whether you're looking locally or further abroad, if you have concerns, references or referrals are always a big help, in my opinion.

Mobile website content
The emphasis on optimizing your mobile site should be the users experience. I know that sounds like a vage answer, and it is, but UX is important.

Parallel mobile website
Hi Echo 1, What do you exactly mean with 'parallel mobiel website'. Do you mean you have website www.example.com/article3 (which ranks for cars) and now you want to make a mobile website which will be named m.example.com/article3. It is a matter of how important you find / urgently need extra traffic if you persuade the new mobile keywords. Google doesn't say you have to have different words for mobile vs pc. Because you can just use the same content on PC - let say your www.example.com website and the m.example.com mobile website - if you tell the robots that the 2 different websites belongs to the same entity (also in human language same company). You can read more about telling the robots that the websites belong together on https://developers.google.com/webmasters/smartphone-sites/details

Mobile website strategy
Hello Echo, If you are finding that there is demand for a mobile version of your website you should definitely reconsider your approach and think about adding mobile specific content. If your customers are buying on the move, they're certainly browsing on the move. While you shouldn't shift focus on directing your customers to your products you could also provide a secondary avenue for them by a way of content to engage them and increase the overall profile of your site. Of course, this comes at an expense so that is for you to judge. If you are using client user-agent detection (and it sounds like you are) to direct visitors to your m.site there should be no down-site in terms of SEO because of the redirect. Inbound links won't redirect as they are not detected by the user-agent. If you are sure there is no duplicate content (you might want to double check your product pages etc for this) then it shouldn't be _necessary _to "link" them. The m.site won't benefit in any significant way from linkbuilding you make to the desktop site as the m.site sits on a subdomain. Without any content, however, it's unlikely your m.site will ever rank anyway so this point is moot. Given the above, I would keep the m.site blocked unless you want to seek an improvement to it. K

Minimum Page Rank to get a link
Yes Jungles its a very important part & i consider that very much... But if some sites don't have much social media and have other things good then we can get a link from there & that would also be the worthy...

Are press releases a form of paid links? Matt Cutts on paid links
I understand, I have done myself in the past too but I am not a big company at all. How I see it, most press releases are done to be picked up by bloggers and writers who will take them one step further and write about them if they are interesting enough. Do you really think that if all press release networks will still survive if they have to apply the no-follow attribute to all the links in their content? I don't think websites like PRWeb or PRNewswire (to name just a few that most people know about it) would charge hundreds of dollars for a press release with a no-follow link. I think you are referring to what it a press release suppose to be, a short and informative piece of writing. Nowadays, I think for most people has this become just another way of getting links back to your website.

Bing free mobile website
Hi echo1, The Bing mobile website will only show your local results on a mobile browser when someone searches Bing on a mobile device and clicks your result. That's nothing more than a search result. It's clunky and very limited. If you're using wordpress for instance you can simply use a plugin that displays your site in a mobile browser friendly version. Your customization will only be limited by the customization you have on your main site, to an extent. Dependent on what type of platform you use, there are numerous ways to create a mobile version. What is your site platform?

Organic ranking vs Local ranking
Given the current state of local, I tend to agree with Robert. Those local results seem to dominate in some cases and they're a powerful draw for search visitors. I should add, though, that it's possible to be in the 7-pack AND organic with blended results - sometimes, Google actually counts a listing as both. I'd say it also depends a lot on the nature of your business. Some queries/industries are naturally local-oriented, and you have to compete in that space. For some queries, local won't matter at all. If your business is naturally local, though, and many queries produce 7-packs or blended results, that's where you have to compete.

1800 Flowers Facebook page
Follow up question, what is more important, a "Like" or o comment on our Facebook page? I'm trying to set up a social media campaign and I'm not sure what to ask people to do in return for a discount, what would be more beneficial. Thanks!

Blog commenting
Matt Cutts states that Google discounts them, it does not say there is any exceptions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZKHFQ5JBpI&feature=results_video&playnext=1&list=PL8E8E1B5EF584C448 I would asume that all the rerady made comment plug ins would be know to google and will be discounted, but home made comment systems may work, if they are not no-follow But I woul;d say you are wasting your time

Top 20 social bookmarking sites
I've used some social bookmarking sites but have found that it can be tricky to keep up on a lot of them. I know for a lot of people things like stumble upon, delicious, reddit, digg, etc. work well. It also depends on your industry. I would recommend whatever you do use, make sure you are getting involved in the site and not just quickly going there to get a link. Get involved and use it for what it's meant to be used for. Good luck.

Can JavaScrip affect Google's index/ranking?
Thank for looking into this. The new site has been uploaded almost a month ago. Since then, Google crawled our website at least 4 times; nevertheless, the image snippet is still from the old template. Although, as you pointed out, there some minor issues, they are certainly not the reason why we dropped so bad. As Rand pointed out to me about 2 weeks ago, sometimes Google works in mysterious ways that even the best in SEO cannot understand. I'll wait for Google to show the snippet image of my Homepage, just to make sure he completely crawled it. Thanks again for your help!
