International URL Puzzle
It definitely sounds like you should consider using HREFLANG as Matt already suggested. This can done via a sitemap and there is a nice tool from The Media Flow to help you with it: http://www.themediaflow.com/resources/tools/href-lang-tool/ Based on your example above (using sub-folders for different countries) you should also consider the following if you are not doing it already: Setting Geo-Location correctly in Google Web Master Tools for each country specific sub-folder. http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.co.il/2008/04/where-in-world-is-your-site.html Try and make your content unique and relevant for the different locations and those users. I understand you may have the same products available for these different markets, but if possible make sure country related elements are unique £ / $ etc. Shipping information might be different for example. Wherever possible try and make it unique whilst trying to deliver the best experience for users from that country. Good luck!

Hi Adam, Are you using free version of xml-sitemaps.com ? In free version they have limitation of 500 URLs. If you have less then 3500 pages, you can try www.web-site-map.com. Hope this help....

Find broken links in Excel?
If this is something you check for often (which it probably should be), you might want to check out a program like Screaming Frog. That makes it really easy to find 404s and any other response codes.

Keyword ranking tool
The Keyword Difficulty gives you a best guess of how hard it would be to rank for a particular keyword, although it's not foolproof. For each keyword, the tool gives you an analysis on which you can base your best judgement based on the quality of your content, backlink profile and ranking potential (your DA/PA) When using the Keyword Difficulty Tool, it's helpful to look not only at the raw number, but the metrics also contained in the Keyword Analysis report beneath it. Be sure to run a full report for important keywords. This will give you insight into exactly why each URL ranks the way it does. For example, the keyword analysis will show you the number of inbound links for each page, on-page factors, and all relevant metrics. When you compare your own site against these factors (you can add your own URL to the report) you can judge how likely you are to rank. Often times you can earn a top ranking on a keyword with a high keyword difficulty score if you have advantages that the others don't. This is particularly the case when the competition is poorly optimized on-page for the given keyword. Hope this helps. Best of luck with your SEO.

When is the last time Google crawled my site
Hi Adam, I would recommend adding your site to Google Webmaster Tools, this will give you under Diagnostics data about the Crawl statistics from Google. This will tell you: The number of pages crawled per day. Kilobytes downloaded per day. Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds) Which in the end will look like this provided with graphs.

Predictive SEO
Adam151 I am unaware of any methodology around predicting results in SEO. The reasons behind this are myriad, not the least of which is the fact that while you are improving your page/domain, any good competitor will be doing the same to some greater or lesser degree. So here is my suggestion for you: First, go through your site and insure that your on page SEO is as perfect as is possible. Look at what your competitors link profiles and see what links you can pick up. You can look at the 2011 Search Engine Ranking Factors on SEOmoz. Knowing that most in SEO believe this to be about what most impacts your rankings, you could devote your time to each on the basis of their effect. Such that, Page level link metrics and Domain level Link authority features take up nearly half of your resources. I suggest running a campaign and throwing in your top three competitors so that you have a good idea as you move as to what is taking place. By tracking what causes the moves, you will no better going forward. Look at what is being considered more and more important by the SE's. Things like freshness (QDF) and being sure your local is full on perfect. Remember there is more than Google and insure you are also in Bing Business Portal and in Yahoo Local. With all of that, then tracking the changes for impact, you might later have a better predictive model. Best

Page links vs. domain links
+1 for Devin's comment. There is no such thing as a domain link. If your site is like mine, most of your external links point to your home page. Therefore, your home page has more PA than a deep page on your site. You can share this existing link juice with your new page by linking from your home page (and any other page with external links) to your new page. The juice will get diluted and it's no substitute for external links, but it will give you a quick boost. If your DA is strong enough, crosslinking within your domain may help your new page outrank your competitors without any external links.

Why some results in SERP have a www. and some don't
Hi Adam, It's based on the preference of the webmaster of those domains. They have simply chosen whether or not to include www in their domain. It doesn't have an effect on SEO because the addition or exclusion of www doesn't give search engines any clue as to the quality of the site. The important thing to remember here is that http://www.example.com and http://example.com are technically different domains, so if you're not careful, it's easy to run into duplicate content issues. If you're working on this for your own website, you should pick one version and make sure the other redirects to it. Hope this helps! Tim
