Adroll for Retargeting Campaign
Hey David! I manage all of our retargeting and online marketing efforts here at Moz. We actually use AdRoll so we might be a little biased. With that said, I've had nothing but great experiences with AdRoll. As John mentioned above, in order to run retargeting ads through the Facebook Exchange, you have to go through one of the ad partner networks. So, that's one major advantage right there of running with AdRoll over Google Remarketing. We've seen amazing results with CTR's of 3-10% on Facebook retargeting ads (especially newsfeed ads) so I highly recommend at least testing it. I also agree with John that AdRoll's customer service is fantastic. We have a dedicated account team there who is super responsive and all around great folks to partner with. Hope that helps! -Justin

Thoughts on Proactive Link Disavow
David, I am in a similar situation and considering using the Disavow tool, although there seems to be some folks here who are fearful of it. Wondering what you ended up doing?

Google Plus Cover image
Thanks for your reply, the issue is our in-house designers have very keen eyes and don't settle for anything less than perfect, so even a little bit of blurriness of the text in the image is an issue. Highest my work screen res goes up to in 1200x800 but the designers are working on high-end macs.

Market Motive Courses Feedback
I have graduated from PPC Master Certification course. Brad Geddes is the instructor. He is an excellent teacher and I found office hours very valuable. 3 months long course is a lot of work, but you learn a lot through practice. You also have access to all other courses as well. I highly recommend the PPC Master Course.

Business.com - Who's stil submitting to it, and why?
Appreciate the input, interesting that their ppc offering outperforms Adwords in that instance/niche. I guess that is a pretty good fit for that particular site, something to keep in mind, for sure.

Raven Tools: Any Comparable Alternatives?
Quick update, the Adwords reports (Ads > Adwords etc) seem to be accurate, exact match api does not seem to affect them, so that is a positive.

Adwords Keyword Quality Score changes when keyword is paused
I've noticed the same thing, while the initial 'insta-change' may be alarming, when you check back just a few mins later the QS adjusts.

Feedback on Link Removal Services
Hi David, Any update for us? I'm looking to outsource as well since time is just not worth it to most clients, or they are just reluctant.

GWTs Crawl Errors Report listing Analytics Virtual Page Views as 404s
Yes, they did return, but similar to your thoughts, I'm quite happy to ignore them. Also from Google, the last sentence is quite topical: "Generally, 404 errors don’t impact your site’s ranking in Google, and you can safely ignore them. Typically, they are caused by typos, misconfigurations (for example, for links that are automatically generated by a content management system) or by Google’s increased efforts to recognize and crawl links in embedded content such as JavaScript."

Geographical targeting and rel=”alternate” hreflang=”x”
In case anyone is interested or has a similar issue in the future, I did some further research on this and have come to the conclusion that: 1. You can specify multiple alternate tags per page 2. However, you should only define one language per targeted page So, in this case the US site will be targeted with and the 'everything else' site will be best served using the generic english tag of 'en' Resource: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=189077
