Hello Ben
Thanks for the reply.
The reason for it is to stregthen the weight of the remaining links.
so based on your answer it is option one.
I see no reason that half of the strength transfered from the home page goes to links
that I am no trying to impove ranking or get the found.
What do u think?
I am in the process of reducing the number of internal links from the homepage with the assumption that the more links I have the more "juice" goes to internal pages
I have two options since many of the links are costumer service related
1. create one link that leads to a costumer service page and place all the links their.
2. get all those links on the main page as nofollow links.
what are your opinions
love your site.
I specialize in two industries.
1. The relocation/transportation/moving industries.
2. Medical industries mainly sites for the third age

Is there any value in getting a youtube channel without any original video contnt?
off course using pre-approved authorized content.
I see tha value for the potential clinetelle but I was wondering if there is any SEO value?
this is a tough one for me.
Some of you know that the average SEO contract is fairly limited in budget.Clients in very competitive industries are fearing spending a lot on SEO.
I do not think I should list the reasons for this.what do you do with limited budgets for SEO.The onsite-technical optimization is fairly easy and take much prsonal labor but it is manageable. The off-site optimization, links, content , and just getting you client out there is time and funds consuming over the scope of regular projects I know.My question is what do you do with onsite optimization really. I am sure some advice will include write great content, get it out there, guest blogging however those are not readily available and are not fitting the scope of any project.what do you think?
weird it did not redirect for me.
This practice is black hat to the core.
I would not use this if I had any long term goals.
Thanks Chris
the site is a magento site.
and the page was cached by Google. my goal is to transfer any importance that Google sees in the page to the home page.
I hope the question is clearer
I was wondering if my system creates this page www my domain com/index.php/
is it better to block with robot.txt or just canonize?
thanks for replying
I would like to try and get more opinion on the second part of your answer "As far as internal linking, just make sure the anchor text doesn't say the exact same thing. For an example make the anchor text be Gold, the text afterword can say personalized widgets"
doing that might hurt my ranking on the term "gold personalized widgets"?
This is a complex one for me but here goes.
my site sales personalized widgets and this is the main keyword.
other keyword that convert are
all those keywords are categories including the main keyword. (each category is a page on my site optimized for that category)
(If you did not guess already I sale jewelry.
I assume that having the keyword included in links pointing to intenal category pages dilute the importance of this keyword on the main page?
there are few options I consider.
Would love o hear what are our thoughts
Is there a way to prevent SEO MOz tools for including those pages
I see them at duplicate page content error and once canonical is there it should not be considered an error, it is just on the way of having nit reports
Hello Nakul
yes canonical is very important here.
what are your thoughts about the messy reports it creates and the number of pages cached by Google?
Just curious about the work process with those pages present on the reports

Hello
I am in the process of cleaning a site and getting less pages cached.
it is a magento site and I was wondering what is your advice fo pages that get this
padded to the link ?material=139&price=10%2C12 accept the obvious canonical?
thanks
on a new project do you still submit to some directories on the list?http://www.seomoz.org/directories
do they still add some value?
can they hurt SEO effort?
I have few pages on my site that are with this nature
/locator/find?radius=60&zip=&state=FL
I read at Google webmaster that they suggest not to change URL's like this
"According to Google's Blog (link below) they are able to crawl the simplified dynamic URL just fine, and it is even encouraged to use a simple dynamic URL ( " It's much safer to serve us the original dynamic URL and let us handle the problem of detecting and avoiding problematic parameters. " )
_http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2008/09/dynamic-urls-vs-static-urls.html _It can also actually lead to a decrease as per this line: " We might have problems crawling and ranking your dynamic URLs if you try to make your urls look static and in the process hide parameters which offer the Googlebot valuable information. "The URLs are already simplified without any extra parameters, which is the recommended structure from Google:"Does that mean I should avoid rewriting dynamic URLs at all?
That's our recommendation, unless your rewrites are limited to removing unnecessary parameters, or you are very diligent in removing all parameters that could cause problems"
I would love to get some opinions on this also please consider that those pages are not cached by Google for some reason.
