Crawl budget
I am a believer in this concept, showing google less pages will increase their importance.
here is my question: I manage a website with millions of pages, high organic traffic (lower than before).
I do believe that too many pages are crawled. there are pages that I do not need google to crawl and followed. noindex follow does not save on the mentioned crawl budget. deleting those pages is not possible. any advice will be appreciated. If I disallow those pages I am missing on pages that help my important pages.

Finacial pages markup
I was wondering if there is away to use Schema for stock market pages?

RE: On page links
thanks and it helps.
are you saying that those article links are beneficial and is considered a good strategy?
I am handling a website with over 3 million pages, highly ranked and I am considering implementing the technolgy to add internal text links to my pages. I imagine a database that includes all keywords and links to their pages and having this system scan my pages and insert links.
again any opinion will help.

On page links
Hi
I am really intrigued by Bloomberg strategy.
if you look at their article pages they are full with internal links done with what I assume to be an automated process (too many pages to be done manually).
it seems to work for them. I would love to hear your opinions.

RE: Giveaways for increasing inbound traffic, brand relevance and organic results
hello Egol
first amazing to e-meet you again, I see you all over for years.
I am running giveaways for few ecommerce site, I have no limit to the amount of giveaways I can run, and it is very easy to fulfill.
I see increased inbound traffic and many social signs are generated, I wonder if it is considered a good an "white" practice. It seems to generate much interest.

RE: Can't get auto-generated content de-indexed
I agree with Doug.
create better category pages - make sure each product page is under a category.
the user generated products are great and should be indexed.

RE: How/why is this page allowed to get away with this?
I am totally flustered by this example and more like this.
on most of my client's projects I see gray and black SEO sites that are leading the serps.
I try to follow the best practice advices and keep a clean shop.
cannot wait to get more info on this.

Giving a final nudge to lead the serps
hi
might be a weird one to ask.working on an ecommerce site, using all new inbound marketing best practices the site positioned on many keywords on the second page of results. the site started to generate income. Assuming budget is not an issue here, do you have any suggestions on how to give it the final push.
any ideas will be considered.

RE: How to get a ecommence website ranked without creating any article
the goal of selling at cost is to improve ranking and increase inbound traffic.
than when your site gets more visits for your keywords sell at profit.

RE: How to get a ecommence website ranked without creating any article
the way that worked for me is to "help" those bargain hunters share their experience socially.
there is no use to sale at cost if this does get any buzz.
I had some success in implementing giveaways and raffles on the site.
this is what I think if you do this sale for $1
- ask youself what do I expects those buyers to do on my site? (share on FB, Tweet or +1
- create the funnel in away that will lead to the goal.
- implement measuring for this goal
- test and improve

RE: Is it time to pay for link building?
Hello
I would like to share results of an merriment I am running in the Jewelry industry.
I am competing against huge companies in the site is only 10 months old.
in 3 weeks I ran a highly engaged social competition and I jumped to high positions in few competitive keywords.
I see growth in Organic traffic of about 5% per week.
it is not a killer growth but on a steady pace. I am very happy.
I would love to share more

RE: Is it time to pay for link building?
I am entertaining a theory that was inspired by things I read here at Moz.
I would like to offer one more option which is part of item # 2 at AWCthreads answer.
Conversion optimization before link building - I Say "Just Conversion optimization". my claim is to create a unique an amazing experience to the traffic you have already. make sure that those visitors and engaged visitors feel the need to share what an amazing site you have. they will do the link building for you. just make sure you wow them and the links and more visits should come. I believe that those "foot prints" created by actual visits is what will have the most affect on your ranking.
I will test this in the next few weeks and share.

RE: How to get a ecommence website ranked without creating any article
I would like to share my take on this question. (inspired by something I read here at Moz.
the assumption is that the site gets minimal traffic per month (hundreds).
if you are only interested in generating more sales let's talk about flipping the funnel.
in my eyes it means taking the traffic you have and even with a very low number of sales create a unique and an extra-ordinary experience. wow your small number of clients, even break even or lose a little on those sales (consider this an SEO expense). make sure that your small number of visitors or buyers feel unique to the point of "falling in love" with you site. take them to a "night out" they will not forget. if you will succeed in wowing them and being unique many of them will share their expedience. that sharing will leave a foot print sniffed by Google and your site will get more traffic. you will create some more wowing. and this is the best way for real inbound marketing. no need to spam the net, let real visitors and buyers create the links for you. this should work in the long run

RE: Auto-submission Software
I am amazed that this is actually being considered.
this way is dead. this way does not work. this way will get the opposite results.
sit read the great info here about inbound marketing and remember there are no short cuts just hard work

RE: Track conversions in Google-Play and iTunes
app download tracking is a crazy ride be ready to work
for facebook - install their SDK and you are good.
with adwords it gets tricky. if you are tracking just installs on Google play no need to do anything - conversion data will come (Two Google products, that is easy)
for IOS you are required to install the SDK (see here https://developers.google.com/app-conversion-tracking/)
if you are looking to measure inapp events and more I suggest using Google Analytic SDK - start here https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2568871?hl=en
enjoy
