RE: Best practices or tools for an SEO audit?
Hi there, Josh is correct in that we have a strict no solicitation policy for this forum and do not allow job postings (to prevent the forum from becoming, well, more like a job board and less like a discussion forum). Typically, we close questions seeking recommendations for SEO service providers, including agencies and independent consults, and suggest you check out our list of Moz Recommended Companies or post on Inbound.org's job board. But since you are getting some solid advice on what to look for in an SEO audit (and related tools), I am going to leave this thread open for a while. Thanks so much for your understanding.

RE: Hi, I'm looking to find out why a google+ account that was rarely used has 10,000 views. I want to discover what sites it is linked to. I entered the page url but no joy. can anyone help?
Hi there, thanks for your question! Is this a personal Google+ profile or a brand page? Either way, does it have a custom URL? (That is, plus.google.com/+YourPageOrProfileName.)

RE: If I am starting a new business, similar to my existing business...
Hi Alex, welcome to the Q&A forum -- and thanks for your kind words about our tools and blog. We're very glad they're helping you successfully rank your existing business website in the SERPs.

You refer to your mobile car detailing business as a new business. I am curious, are you actually setting it up as a business distinct from your air duct cleaning business, and will it have its own branding? And how do the markets for each one compare? (I'm guessing they are very different, with one B2B and the other B2C but I don't know what I don't know.)

RE: Had to reactivate my account and now my campaign is completely gone -- eeek!
Hi Christina,
You should be able to activate your campaigns with a few clicks. Log in to your account and navigate to your Campaigns overview page. Next, click on "Archived Campaigns" link (located near the top of the page, underneath the black design element labeled "PRO".) A list of your old campaigns will appear. Finally, click on the button labeled "Activate," located underneath each archived campaign. Let me know how this works for you.
Oh, and we are super excited you will be joining us at MozCon! See you in less than two weeks!!!!!

RE: How to change settings in Moz to analyze new property of my website?
Hi, thanks for your question! Here's how to configure your campaign to pull in data from the new GA profile:
From your campaign’s dashboard, click on “Campaign Settings” link, located under the top nav, far right side (just under your avatar).
- Click on the pencil icon under the Traffic Settings section (look for the Google Analytics logo).
- Select the GA Account and Profile you’d like to track from the drop-down menus. (These are two separate selections. When you select a new/different Account, the Profile options will change to reflect that.)
- Click the “Save” button.
- If you have trouble saving the new profile, click the “Disconnect" button, then repeat steps 2 and 3.
Let us know if that works for you!
Cheers,
Christy -
RE: Why is "preview this query" button greyed out in Add & Manage Queries?
Hi there, did you fill in the search query box with your search term enclosed in quotes? Also, are you receiving any error messages? So sorry for your trouble!

RE: Why Does Google Keep Changing My Page Titles?
There are many reasons why Google may decide to change your title tag in the SERPs besides the length, however. As your example shows, Google likes titles that are keyword rich, concise, and branded. The closer your titles match the search query -- and your page -- the less likely they are to be rewritten. You aren't using boilerplate templates for your titles are you (or auto generated ones)?
Would you mind sharing some examples of titles that have remained intact as well as ones that have been changed by Google?

RE: Some sites like bbc.co.uk place the most important category links at the bottom of the page while other sites will place the whole site map there. What are the benefits (or not) of both approaches?
If I were to put a site map at the bottom of a page, I would not list every single page but only the most important category and page links, along with the links required for legal purposes. You don't want footer links to drain your page of link juice, nor overwhelm your page design. What's more, placing a ton of the same links on every single page of a site is definitely considered spammy these days.
For news sites, yes, the lead story should be the first thing a user sees. For most other sites, though, a few links in a well-designed top nav bar should be placed near the top of the page or directly underneath a branded banner.

RE: Is it possible to connect a Facebook page that I manage?
Hi there, thanks for your question! Yes, you can track any Facebook page that you manage. Under Campaign Settings, when you connect the Facebook account associated with the page you want to manage, all the pages you manage wish said show under Facebook Accounts on the same page. (You may need to click on the pencil icon next to Facebook Accounts, though.) Click on "Track This Profile" next to the name of the page you wish to track.
