Virtual Offices & Google Search
Hi Miriam Thanks for the response, I completely understand what you are staying and agree with you. I always play by Google's rules, but occasionally the real world has to be considered. In this instance it is more important and more financially beneficially to the company to have the virtual office near to where all their clients are currently based. But we don't want anything to happen to the website as it is a source of reference for their customers, so we have already put in place hiding the home address and showing Google the area serviced by the client. We won't be targeting the virtual address as the business is strong enough to appear within the location they service. -Christina

The Pros & Cons of Free SEO Reports
Hi Christina, We tend to agree with the others - you get what you pay for. Another important consideration is what you are including in your reports and what metrics are important to you. We have always felt that including analytics data into reporting is crucial for setting benchmarks and being able to see the historical data for trends and analysis in one place is also very useful. Many of the free sites can be an ok solution for identifying optimization ideas and opportunities for improvement but lack substance in benchmarking and comparison tracking with M/M or Y/Y true data. We like to use Moz, SEM Rush, and Screaming Frog for some of our day to day work and use a combination of Conductor and Adobe SiteCatalyst (Omniture) for reporting. Hope this helps!

Is it reasonable to not give an SEO access to our CMS?
Exact same thing has happened to us in the past too.... One of our clients is a major Canuck city's Economic Development dept whose mandate is to get new businesses and investors to come to their city to invest and open new businesses. At first, we too were denied access to anything - we had to create long Word .docs with full directions and screenshots of what to do and where to do it. However, after 5 renewals over the past 5 years, we were given full access to their site via both their CMS and ftp too... Proving I'd suspect that trust needs to be "earned" - not given freely is how I'd see it... Oh in another case another SEO client - a major Canuck University has not been able to give that same earned trust access as their site includes credit card info - buried deep and encrypted - but PCI specs say that they should limit access....so again we do the full Word .doc blueprints for their site....

Quickest Way to Pro Campaigns after Log In?
I need to play with it, but it does look interesting after spending some time in it yesterday. There does seem to be data missing from one campaign though. Like I said before, my biggest problem are similar or light colours, when i first visit analytics I can't see some of the colours, although they are better on an Apple screen than they are on a PC. A how to guide on the right side of the screen would be good. Nice big bright button that I can't miss. I bet there is a how to guide and I've missed it

Google Tag Manager
I'm lucky, my business partner is a developer and he is fantastic with code. Hence why I have such a good content manager system, especially for SEO purposes. I'm not a fan of WordPress or Drupal so Google's Tag Manager will come in handy if and when I have to deal with a website using those systems again.

Are Their Any SEO Dangers When Cleaning Up a Site
It does feel good cutting the dead weight and letting irrelevant articles go. I am also listing what can now be updated and rewritten for a future post before the redirect is put in place

To Many Links On Page Problem
We found we actually had 6 links into each individual blog within the blog page. We corrected this and the 'too many links' in the error report disappeared! YAY We also worked a way around the number of links on our sitemap which also corrected this error. Correcting both issues has had a positive impact on our website.

When Should I Ignore the Error Crawl Report
Hi there Christina! Thanks for reaching out to us! I can definitely see how something our crawl diagnostic can be a bit noisy, since our tool has to be over-inclusive of information we provide. One thing If you are having some issues on your crawl diagnostic and you think the error is not correct, you can post some examples here, or if you don't feel like posting sensitive information you can certainly email us with your examples at help@seomoz.org. Hope that helps, please let me know if you have any questions! Best, Peter SEOmoz Help Team.

Sitemap as Referrer in Crawl Error Report
Thanks Tom. The site map is pointing to the correct pages, and when visiting the pages in the search engines no problems arises. I don't understand why these pages are listed in the crawl error report when I can't see any obvious issue.
