As long as the syndicated articles are tracking back (linking back) to the original version it will not count a duplicate.

The first page to get indexed will not suffer from syndication regardless of track backs. Only the site that syndicates needs to track back or it wil look like duplicate text.

Based on the situation, I would only disavow the ones that are indexed and be sure to keep track of your work. The Read More link I posted above explains everything you need to know. You should also check both versions (www and non) of the back links to your site.

Remove both Google looks at them as two separate sites. However, I would not recommend using Google disavow tool unless the linking page is not accessible, or the webmaster of the linking site will not take it down after a couple attempts.

I would use Google to do a search for the content to see what comes up. Also Google gives all the credit to the first content indexed. So you will not be punished as long as your content was indexed before the syndications.

Checking keywords can be challenging because Google checks if you are logged on, and uses personalized settings to show results. If it's not your personalized settings it could be your browsers saved settings (cookies and cache). If it's not your browser it can also be the location you are searching from.

The best way to check for your terms is logged out, with a cleared cache browser. If it's national the organic should be good from anywhere. However if it is a local business check from the cities the business is working on ranking.

Because that info was being pulled fro google adwords keyword tool, my guess there are issues with pulling data.

However you can still collect this data from google adwors keyword tool... just be sure to set your search to [exact] instead of broad.

Global results = the entire world search volume

Local Results = your continent

I would start with keyword research to find which one of these terms has traffic and how competitive they are.

B)then use SEOmoz's keyword difficulty yool to determine how competative the terms are "organically" http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/keyword-difficulty

If you still want to go for both terms you can build two pages and optimize both pages, build links to them, and most importantly outreach/social media.

Also, when it comes to a doctors/dentists you can have a listing for the name of the place and each dr. that practices there.

I would recommend using whatever you have listed in your Google places account. As long as all the NAP (names addresses and phone numbers) are consistant with Google it will help you rank better in Google Places.

I agree if the page is live in your browser (xml version) then Google should be able to crawl it.

You have to submit the .XML version and it has to be live in your directory on your server.

As long as you 301 all the pages to correct locations (autodealerchat.com 301 to auto.contactatonce.com) you will not lose any link juice, and you will keep your rank on the new pages...

Google wants you to simplify everything for their users. In this case you will lose page age, so I am curious to hear what others have to say...

If the site wide liks are helpful to the user, branded and nor anchored with gaming text it can be followed. However, if the links are not helpful to the user I would not add them.

1)Start with relevancy... Will this link help anyone?   Y or N

2)Is this page quality? do they follow best Search engine practices(Panda/Penguin)?  Y on N

3)Are they active? do they have any social media interaction?  Y on N

If all three are yes then get the link. I would recommend using a no follow tag if the link is below the footer. If the link is above the footer and all three of the above are yes then you can link it.

Only use an exact anchor if it looks right for the user, otherwise use your brand. Tip: I would use the brand just to be safe and keep the exact key phrases around the link. Search engines read around the link as well.

IMO the site looks clean and user friendly, this does not look like an attempt to game search engines. I would say it's good.

Most definitely do a 301 redirect because it will keep most of your link juice and it will let the search engine know that the page/site has moved. As long as the page is redirected to a relevant logical page you will be fine... no matter how many 301s you do. However if the page does not make sense to redirect do not redirect instead you can display a 404 page (splash page) etc...

From the user end they will be redirected to the new page. If the origin of the redirect is the old domain (site B) try to change it, or edit it so it has the new location/anchor.

I would do a few checks, first see if they are ranking for their own term, ie we are in the miami/fort lauderdale our terms that we are looking (and are) to rank for are SEO Miami or SEO Fort Lauderdale. Local SEO does not have to be done by a local SEO person or company. However a local SEO guy probably has local connection.

Squidoo is not necessarily spammy. As long as what you post is useful it will not hurt you.
