Adding another keyword phrase to home page.
Yea...but all the three keyword phrases in my case really mean the exact same thing and will attract the exact same audience. They are synonyms. A better example I should have used is:(probably still not the best) So if I ranked #1 for Car Dealers and wanted to add the following that had equal traffic. Car Auto Dealers Car Vehicle Dealers Could I add those two terms to the same page?

Setting up a Blog - Guest Authors
I would recommend Wordpress for the same reasons as Moosa and Tommy. As for books, I would suggest reading Content Rules as this not only discussing blogging but also other useful content such as Podcasts, Videos, Ebooks etc which can all boost SEO. Best of luck in your blogging adventures! Enjoy.

Yes...I will end up doing both...because staying up until 4 or 5 AM many nights is not going to work for me in the long run.

Paid Directories and On-page Keyword SEO
The only time this is an issue is if they type "horse buggy" into their address bar on browsers that default to putting ".com" on the end of any invalid URL. But since you're already stuck with that as it is, the next best thing is to whoop em on searches for "horse buggy".

Optimum Words on Home Page
well i wopuld like to see it more than once, and i think 30 times would be hard to see happaning naturaly. but if 30 times or 50 times was how it works out naturaly then i would not worry, Search engines are much smarter than counting words, they can tell if text is natural or not. They look at the text and try to work out what the page is about, having the keyword repeated is not how they work this out, they do by looking at supporting words and their context. this is hard to fake, so thats why i say write naturaly and you will do fine, try to fake it and it will show. 70% of vists dont come from your main keywords, they came from long tail searches that you can not predict, but if you write natualy you will do well in long tails queries also. It has been proven that thee is no such thing as keyword density or keyword count, i once like all SEO's used to think like that, but i learnt that SE's are looking for natual text, so thats what i give them.

URL - Keywords
Hi Utahtiger - You won't be penalized in one sense for having your keywords in your URL again, but you may end up hurting your rankability for the term because you will have two pages optimized for those keywords. I think it would be better to focus on one of the pages (your homepage) for that keyword. This way you can point links to that page that are optimized for that term, instead of having to build links to two pages. Don't hurt yourself with your onsite SEO. It's more important than a lot of people think

Any recommendations for Social Media Submission
Hi Utah Tiger, I believe you're referring to KnowEm. The site lets you have them create social media accounts for you, rather than you doing the signing up to each one yourself. I don't believe they offer any tools to USE all of those sites, just to sign up for them. I haven't used them myself, but KnowEm does have a good reputation.

External Links question
Hi UtahTiger, I would underline the fact that link metrics are not enough to check the weight of a valuable link partnership. For example, let me show you what I look at when choosing a link partnership: 1. Does my link provide additional value to the specific page? (if so, after click-through there is a higher chance of converting) 2. Where is my link placed? (Although people can place a link randomly on their website, I prefer to have a link that fits in naturally in the text. Not only for Search Engines, but human visitors will also be more likely to click on a link in the content than one in sidebar.) 3. Is there a chance for Search Engines easily reach the page? (well you do Link exchange for gaining some link reputation, right? you don't want to miss out the search engines neither) 4. Is it follow/nofollow? 5. And only on this stage I check the link metrics. I have left the link metrics on the last position just for one reason: try to provide value with your link first and only after try to gain something in exchange (the good-old link juice). Numbers can tell you a lot, but not everything. Good luck with building good links! Gr., Istvan
