How big is the website?

In webmaster tools i have 520 domains linking to my site and i disavowed some today, when i was done it said "you successfully uploaded a disavow links file with 75 URLs and 0 domains". First question, did i do this right? Second question if a site is linking to me on multiple pages on their site do i have to disavow each link or just the domain is enough. When i download the all links to my site it was around 5,000 from the 520 domains. I appreciate the help.

is your site built on wordpress, there are several plugins that work good if so.

I do this on my about or contact page, i put my phone, email and even president name so when someone searches for a company it pops up in the SERPs

That recently happened to me with press releases, i submitted a press releases and 20 other website picked it up and most of the sites were spammy.

If your trying to promote a brand it's hard to start from the beginning. Im wmt I'm sure you know about "links to your site" tab, go in there and see who is linking to you, if it looks spammy, disavow or email them to take the link off.

Are the pdf documents controlled by you? Can you edit them?

Do you not want the search engine to follow them?

In my opinion it can be both, of course i like to brand company names but you can throw in some keywords related to the business or niche, i have seen and ranked social media sites in the serps for key phrases related to their business.

They will re crawl the website soon but if you want to resubmit a page to them go to wmt and hit fetch as google and put the url you want them to crawl.

Was the content ever the same? Did you recently update it? Is anything on the page the same or similar to other pages, did you maybe upload another version of your site on the server?

Did you try logging in with the email that you used for Moz local? If you didn't supply a password just do a forgot password.

I think its a good thing, it can help people find your business and if you have reviews attached on google+ they can see that within your maps acct.

Mine too, i read it can take from 4-6 weeks to be completed.

I struggle with this too, on the one hand we get referral business from these links but on wmt it shows some sites may have 2000 pages and that can't look good in a search engines eyes. Im cleaning my site up now and in web master tools i had so many pages linking to me from sites that i have done over the years and i think it might be hurting me. I recently started putting no follow links on a lot of the sites that i have built so that potential clients can get to my site but search engines won't crawl them. Hope this helps.

Yea im not sure if explorer picks up everything but WMT does. As long as you add all your urls to all your social acts your should be good.

Im not sure if all links to your site show up in site explorer, check wmt but in some of my sites i don't see some social media links as well. Are you sure you have the link in the right place? That might be it as well.
