Local Listing Spam - Why is Google Missing this?
Thx Donnie for the reply, I see your point however for some reason these guys are ranking above others in the same space... It reminds me of the LockSmith Spam but in a different way.. Yes, they are over optimizing but the algo has not done anything about this.. I am a white hat SEO and don't believe in following this technique.. I found a company I posted in the past that did the samething and found it ranks. http://www.seomoz.org/q/has-anyone-had-experience-with-nsphere-net

MicroSites built for unique theme for targeting customers with Build in Shopping Cart
Thx Nakul, the product is for printed products such as banners, so breaking it down via nitch maybe able to narrow down the options for the customer when looking for such things as a wedding banner and we would of course have no duplicate content, titles, etc .....

Google to Target Overly SEOd Sites
Sounds almost like they'll take all current SEO factors and wipe them - focusing almost purely on links. Eg title tags no longer important.

What is the best way to build a Mobile Site?
build one site for both browser and mobile. you can use the viewport meta tag and css, to detect the screen size and different css will take over. @media only screen and (max-width: 850px) { csss for mobile } This has been recomeneded by Bing as they found that sites made just for mobiles do not rank or generate much traffic. I have made a few pages like this for testing. http://thatsit.com.au/seo/tutorials/how-to-fix-canonical-domain-name-issues Here is what bing had to say on the subject http://www.bing.com/community/site_blogs/b/webmaster/archive/2012/03/07/building-websites-optimized-for-all-platforms-desktop-mobile-etc.aspx

Annzoseo - Keeps Calling, funny SEO Phone Conversation!
This has been an on-going topic all over the web and I agree, realistically there are now real qualified SEO Certifications yet other than PPC and such from the engines. However even with a certification that is no reason to choose one or the other it comes down to the work. What did you do and what can you do? I only point out Bruce Clay's because of the difficulty of the test I have taken others and passed however this was like taking my MCSE test but with a twist, plus you are to uphold the standards Bruce has put forth with his certification .. If any of the certified are caught spamming they will loose their certification as well as many other criteria where as other just give you the cert if you pass WOOPY I like his morals and love the refresher courses to keep up to date with technology. With any certification, you can be a book worm and pass the test but can you really do the work? That is the question!

Has anyone had experience with nsphere.net?
I was looking for the same and found this: http://www.seomoz.org/q/company-nsphere-www-nsphereinc-com The lack of pricing info and the sort of confusing interface with no direct upgrade options on the free version was enough for me to assume that it is probably a little shady. The sample directory in the above mentioned discussion confirms that suspicion.

Google + Rules on Running Product Giveaways
I'm assuming they're enforcing it when they come across it and feel like enforcing it. But I haven't seen any official documentation. (BTW, Facebook also has rules against giveaways, and as we know, they happen a lot.) Not that I would ever encourage anyone to break the rules...

Google Panda & Effects On Affiliate Sites
Google's affiliate program is done through their custom links which then redirect, which means they're all no-follow links. With Panda, Google's basically saying that everyone's going to be no-follow from here on out for all affiliate programs, even if they have built in no-follows or redirects that are already not passing link juice.

Duplicate Content Issue within the Categories Area
When you say "templates", can you explain what you mean? Do all 9 variations have the same content, but with a different wrapper (graphical look and feel)? In that case, I agree with @eyepaq - the canonical tag would be your best bet. It's a bit tough to tell with a specific example, but the key issue is how different the pages are (and if they have search value). I have to disagree, though, regarding internal duplicate content not being a Panda issue. I think thin and near-duplicate internal content is very much part of the Panda equation. I've also seen large-scale duplication cause massive ranking problems.
