Submitting multiple sitemaps
I agree with it. If you want to go with multiple XML site maps so you have to wait after submission. I have very good experience with multiple XML site maps. I am working on eCommerce website and submitted 24 XML site maps to Google webmaster tools. Just look in to multiple XML site maps for Lamps Lighting and More! You can see that Google webmaster tools shows very few index URLs. I have similar experience for my another eCommerce website where I have submitted 7K+ URLs and 300+ indexed by Google with in 15 days.

Pages not cached
Your site is being properly indexed, your pages are appearing as expected in Google SERPs and you see the cached pages but you do not see the header at the top of the cached pages which says "This is Google's cache of [url]. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on [date]". Is the above an accurate description of what you are seeing?

Best keyword research tool
I was not pleased with Spyfu. Though their Recon reports look great, as they provide data on how much you profit is to be had by ranking higher on certain terms. I am looking forward to using the SEOmoz reports and adding in Adgooroo's Tornado reports (which also supply missed profit) for clients.

Website Content
It has no SEO effect if you keep your naming identical and in wordpress add .html so keeping the same url structure and naming. The extension is not taken in consideration. However if you move from /page.html to /page (no extension) it will be considered as a new page. So what you have to do is a 301 redirect from .html to /page... manually first and then if you have all your pages without extension just create a htaccess to redirect all pages from .html to no extension. Hope it helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

BOTW listing
Those are the top three for any website. You might consider joeant.com or a few of the other high-ranking directories. Also added the BBB to the list, thanks to this article.

What link would be better?
Is it a relevant website? Or would your link just be in amongst a bunch of other irrelevant websites hoping to reap some PR? The name of the game is relevance. When approaching a site for a backlink, check their backlinks too to see where they are coming from. Ages ago, before I really knew what I was doing (and I'm still learning after all these years), I managed to get my website a link on a homepage that was a PR9. I was pumped. However, the site had absolutely, and I mean absolutely nothing to do with the niche of my site. All-in-all, that link did nothing for me. After learning from that mistake, I only seek out sites that are in my niche, and have have links pointing to them that are also in my niche. Keeps it in a nice trusted grouping of complete relevancy.

Stupid question
Page Rank is old new and its better to judge a site on its Page and Domain Authority. If you wish to see a websites Page Rank and also its MOZrank download an add on for your browser called 'Searchstatus.' It only works in Firefox and Seamonkey so make sure your using the correct browser. Having the SEOMOZ toolbar and the Searchstatus add on, you have many factors to take into consideration when judging a website. Good luck with your ventures.

Double Listing
I agree with EGOL's answer - right on. I was trained in theory in my early days that you should NEVER have two pages targeting the same keyword, similar to Ryan's first answer about Google getting "confused" about both pages and ranking neither. I've now seen in practice over the years that this isn't true and that double listings from the 1&2 or even 2-4 positions are very possible, especially for "chunky middle" and long-tail terms. Similar to how Rand and many others have been saying over the years, you do want to create the perfectly optimized page for your main keywords, fully of great content, rich media, focused CTA's, etc. But there is also a natural use of certain keywords throughout your site that occurs. There are similar but not exact pages that just happen to target the same keywords - and these often create the double listings. So following the advice from others above, what I've seen work well for double listings is to choose a primary keyword for each of your main pages, but don't worry about overlapping certain keywords among your pages - this happens naturally and you can get double listings as a result.
