Basically a countries domain ending is always preferred if you are targetting that country. Depending how competitive your domain/keywords are in Brasil it could be fairly easy, or failry hard to rank. Some things to consider. Where you get your links from, if you want it to rank in brasil, get your backlinks form there when possible, also the hosting of your site is a major factor, if you want it to rank in brasil, try and get it hosted there as well. Good luck, and it is possible but you should really go for a local country domain name to make things easy for yourself.

RE: Does SeoMoz realize about duplicated url blocked in robot.txt?
Don't be too worried about SEOMOZ's errors. Just be aware of them, and if you have done what you need to for the robots file in regards to S.E robots, they should take notice and there shouldn't be any issues. Always be sure to check GWT for errors, those are the ones you should fix asap.

RE: Problem in doing seo for a German medical website?
Check the cuurent backlink profile, clean up any bad links if you can, and don't get links from link farms. As well as everything else Robert said too.

What a great list.
^^ What they said, good luck !

RE: Can you help with quality and interesting content ideas?
Unforunately, if you do not know how to write good content, you'd better take a course or tutorial or something because you probably won't get to far when it comes to ranking.
You can always get ideas of others, just do not steal or spin their content.

RE: Best practices for repetitive job postings
It could be worth posting the question in GWT forum, so at least there might be a chance one of the google employees takes a note and may (or may not) be able to do something about penalties given to the site.

RE: Angies List and Judy's Book and other sites
Obviously there is a fine line and double standards when it comes to paid directory listings, however as long as you stick to the approved ones and to be sure only submit to free directory sites that might keep you out of trouble. The bottom line is you can NOT only rely on google for traffic and sales, to do so is only putting yourself into a corner.

RE: How to remove a thin site penalty
Yes unoriginal content will get you penalised very quick. Even if it's your content, if another site steals it and they have more authority google will most likely penalise you for it. Great to be given the benefit of the doubt isn't it? So clear that up but contacting other webmasters to have them remove it, or simply rewrite your content. After you are happy, resubmit your sitemap and update it if necessary before you do.

RE: Site not ranking in Google but comes up #1 in Yahoo and Bing
Simply put don't make your pages for SEO, make them for your users/visitors, do your main SEO offsite.
Time and time again though, we've experienced the google high - bing/yahoo low or the google low - yahoo/bing high.
It would seem each search engine reviews the others and do not want to display the same results, after all, what would be the point?
So figure out which one you want to target and go for it with whatever methods that get you up there. I think it'd be quite hard to get #1 for all search engines, unless of course your a site like wiki.
Good luck!

RE: Improve rankings for keywords...you can't display!
Basically, what everyone has said, take a wide angled approach, which will take time.

RE: DMOZ help
Hello,
I wouldn't bet on it, but there's no harm in trying

RE: Too Many On-Page Links issue
Simple, remove some links.
But I agree with the above poster, you don't need to tend to every error, warning or guidline that Moz gives you, just use common sense and you'll be fine.

RE: How important are internal links as I have none according to a report
Do you possibly mean no outgoing links?
-
RE: Ranking History Reports
Just keep the email reports, that would give you a quick reference.
Not sure about history tracking, doe sthe site have a WMT account, you could possibly check back in there somewhat.

RE: The concept of Blogging
Blog how you want to blog and how you think it will interest the reader.
From memory I don't really think blogs with massive amounts of comments rank overly well, could be wrong though.

RE: Editing Author Pages
Get a plug in that will allow you to add meta info

RE: Still too many internal links reported on page
Yes what you have done is good, although I am not sure about the moz bots capabilities for drop down crawling. I would say wait until your next crawl, and even then if it picks up the links don't worry about it too much, just do what you can do and stick with it if it's good for the user.

RE: Mechanical turk, should I use USA workers?
Not sure but it would probably be more beneficial to do it for the country in what you want to rank in.
