do you post these prints to the customer or do they pick them up?

if they pick them up then showing the addresses will IMO get you more business than you will lose,as they will wonder why they cant know up front. Never give a customer anything to be suspicious about, getting a customer online is like trapping a rabbit, one false move and they are out of there.

#1 i would not use a CMS, i would code it from scratch and make sure I got a prefect score using the Bing SEO toolkit, making sure the search engines can crawl your site perfectly is something that is hard to fix later on down the road.
#2 I would make sure I have a good linking structure to allow link juice to flow to the correct places.
#3 I would think long and hard on my user friendly URL’s from the start

Thats a lot better, its actualy quite nice layout. But when view all is selected, it keeps freezing and is hard to scroll.

I see you have many languages and this is the problem. I see the site is made from asp.net, why did you not use the globalizatuion feature of ASP.net, it would show a language depending on the users settings on the computer, rather then have several versions, this would  make life easier in development and solve your problem of havaing a link to every version.

The idea is to have all your text stored in resource files, one for each lingo, depending on windows settings you pull you content from a different rsource file.

But having said that, i would be more worried about converion due to load time, if your page takes too long to load you will lose users.

If i were a search engine, and some one searched for a blue widget, i could return a page that mentions a blue widget and has an image, that maybe of a blue widget. Or i could return your page that has a image marked up with HTML5, and microdata telling me that the image is in fact of a blue widget along with all the other details you can mark up with microdata and html5 telling me that the page has a lot of information about blue widgets, i know whitch one i would return to the user.

As one assuie to anouther, your deveopers are just not up to it.

You problems go deeper still, you have domain name canonical issues, this is a big one and a obvious one your developers should of not let get by

if your site can be resched by www and non www without 301 redirecting the SE will see the sites as 2 seperate sites, and you rank will be split

I would also like to ask why you have 350 sites, are you saying they are duplicates of this one www.westendautos.com.au

It is a big factor, because your home page rank is split wetween the 2, what you want to do, is make sure you dont not have any links to the default.aspx version in your site, one would asume that you do for it to getinto the index.

Article posting is mostly a waste of time.

dont bother posting to sites that are made just for placing articles. Rtry to get your article placed on a relevant site or blog that is not built just for that purpose.

It certainly can affect their rankings, it could improve them or decrease them.

Changing content can have a great affect a well as the design, bad crawlability can also have a great affect.

If the site is generating good income i would not be trusting this job to an amature with a off the shelf CMS.

There is also a change in site structure and 301's to consider.

Depedning in the current site, a rebuilt can oftem be a good chance to fix inbuilt problems. A lot deopends on your choice of devloper.

this file is to fix transperency on png images for IE6

But you do have over 1600 un-necessary redirects,causing a huge lose of link juice.
I asume from looking at a few that you have been 301ing 404's to other opages, you really should find the source of these 404 and remove the links or fix them, this would save you a huge amount of link juice

No not all all, they would not know what IP the comments came from, and really is no business of theirs anyhow.

the comments and the rest of your content are all requsted from your ip number, no matter what ip number the comment maker came from.

I would tell them to take a hike, if you have already passed over any cash then I would ask for it back , if they did not tell you this before taking the money.

To me guest posting is getting someone with a very good private blog where not just anyone can post. To get 30 in a month seem to me you are posting to places where it is open to the public.
If just anyone can post, then it is likely not of much value.

don't bother with w3.org for the reasons you point out.

I don't try to pass validation for the sake of passing, If the validation has logic behind it that concerns me then I take note.

I use Microsoft Visual Studio code analysis(fxcop) for server side code for performance and reliability , I use the JSHint and Web essentials (css)  for client side code, I use the Bing SEO API for SEO, all of these are built into Visual Studio, I also use the IIS Bing SEO Tools for a more detailed look at the SEO.

I just ran a site of mine though w3.org and they gave me 3 errors, all nonsense

This is the correct tag to tell Internet explorer how to render the page, if you listen to the w3.org, then you page will not render correctly in IE.

This canonical error is a notive not a error correct?

if so it is just letting you know they are there, it is important you dont have canonicals in pages and not know.

Canonicals in every page pointing to itself was seen as a good idea to help protect against screen scaping, but recently Bing has said that it is a incorrect use and that they will lose trust in your canonicls if used in this way.

You need to 301 redirect from non www to www or visaversa.

What sort of server is your website running on or do you have a URL i can check?
