Thanks, Benjamin.  It's not that we don't know how, I was more interested in best-in-class examples on the internet.  I've seen examples of slideshows/galleries that either have regular pagination or they have a jquery slideshow implementation that doesn't load new pages. Just curious if there are non e-commerce examples of 'view all' pages out there.

Hi Aggie, Sorry that you're experiencing problems with your migration. My first thought was that you need to make sure you've verified non-www and www for both the old domain and the new one. It sounds like you may have done this? What verification method did you use to verify your old domain? I found a thread in the Google Webmaster forums which mentions using a different verification method (DNS record on both domains) and that seemed to fix the problem. Raven only has the recipe   offering in there WordPress plug-in found on schema-creator.org it is very strange they did not update their site as well.

Thanks for your candor, EGOL.  Was just looking for some insight on where I might look outside of the obvious markers I'd already evaluated. These forums have been been extremely helpful in the past when folks have encountered similar issues before mine. Have a great day!

I've looked everywhere, because I suspected the same thing.  There is nothing on the page, in the comments or in the code that would create this situation virtually across the board. It wouldn't be that big of a deal, but it's happening with tons of content. Unfortunately, with a news media website, we have to have time stamps, but even if we didn't, I would have no clue how Google is assigning the dates that they are.

As far as my understanding goes, you have most of it right, except on #2,  the link should have rel=me instead of rel=author but you are right, it is all very confusing

Mine is customized to match the website and the things that I like about it are.... --- the adsense income is great --- it makes things on a large site very easy to find --- a lot of people who enter the homepage go straight to search

Irving - Ok, so we took the restriction out of robots.txt while IT tries to fix the issue of URLs showing up on the sitemap that shouldn't. Warnings haven't fallen off and now our sitemap is a day behind now as it's stuck in pending for almost a full day. Any thoughts on what might be causing? I'm assuming this is impacting what's indexed and hurting our site.

Well, that is telling Google those pages are related and are part of a series. I don't think that has anything to do with the duplicate page title / description directly. Can you do a "Page 1 - Current Page Title" on these paginated pages in the title or something like "Page 1 of 26 - Red Widget Photos from Amazing Gallery" or whatever you might have. I hope this helps.

CleverPHD.  We do link to the originating domain by way of the copyright footer as well as a link back to the original story. Glad to know we're on the same page.

Answer: not often enough. But they are working on fixing on that.
