Google's count of results is not that accurate. You can demonstrate this on smaller sites. Google might say "200" results but once you start digging down its only 154 for example.

If you pay them to put links on their private network of sites, then those are paid links, which would break Google's guidelines.

The short answer is that you write the description when you advertise via Google Adwords. You will enter the description into Google Adwords when you setup your ad(s).

I agree with AWCthreads - you should either spend a lot of time learning about Google Adwords, or you should hire a firm with experience (PM if you're interested in how we can help you in this regard).

Two ways:

1. Create campaigns targeting keywords like "marines boot camp" "army boot camp" etc.

2. Stick with keywords like "boot camp" but add lots of negative keywords like "-fitness" and "-weight loss"

Well, it's probably either the code on your website or the server.

If it's the code, a good programmer can help you find and fix the issue.

If it's the server, your hosting company should fix it...if not, switch hosts.

Without access to your site, I don't have many more suggestions.

Any links from Amazon.com to your website would likely be nofollow, and so would have little or no impact on SEO.

My opinion is that using two different variations of the same keyword in the title does not qualify as keyword stuffing.

However, I would suggest that you include the part name, too, like:

Part 101055, Gasket For Yamaha 2030 | 10-10 55

Just because some people may search for the part by name, and it is more descriptive.

As Alan noted, nofollow is most often implemented on a link by link basis, not sitewide. There are tools that highlight nofollow links to make it easier. I use http://www.quirk.biz/searchstatus/

In most cases, I would tend to put the URL for each location - much more useful for the user.

Yes, it usually takes weeks or often months to see SEO results.

Google makes updates to its rankings and algorithms daily. That being said, SEO is a long term game played over weeks and months. If your site is new, expect it to gain rankings over a matter of months.

Jack, Google ignores the keyword meta tag completely, and doesn't pay much attention to the meta description tag for ranking or relevancy purposes.

A few rules of thumb I use to target multiple variations of the same word:

• If possible, optimize your page for each variation
• That would include having each variation in the page title
• At the very least, include each variation in the page content
• Prioritize which variation is most important, and place it closer to the start of your page title
• Use each variation, and variations of the variations, as anchor text when link building

By the way, I would be interested in hearing about the differences you are noticing based on case sensitivity.

I'll skip the whole buying links lecture and give you some practical advice.

If you are going to buy links, my advice is to not buy them from a broker - links bought via brokers and networks are easier for Google to track and penalize. Buy direct from the webmaster.

The homepage is not in the first 5 pages of results, but there are over 60K pages on the site.

The homepage has by far the most link juice, and there are no canonicals.

Google seems to be showing all the individual product pages first. This is unusual, as you would expect the homepage, category pages, and other pages linked sitewide to appear first.

If users have to click from the landing page to the search results page to see the listings, that's an extra click = fewer people seeing the search results.

You could have two very similar pages - one with the extra text and images, and one without. Add a canonical tag to the one without so all the link juice goes to the one with the extra text and images.

Hmmm, just looked it over. Not to be too negative, but I couldn't help but notice that a significant number of their speakers are from companies that are not performing well and/or are on a downward spiral: Barnes & Noble, AOL, and Amtrak.
