Breadcrumbs and Left hand menus....
Depends a lot on how you configure your site. If your site isn't deep (meaning the number of pages to navigate to a given page) then breadcrumbs don't make as much sense. If you use broad categories with a drill-down into increasingly specific categories before you reach a given content page, however, then it makes a lot more sense to offer breadcrumbs, The purpose of breadcrumbs is to show the navigation path to that page. I wouldn't worry about the duplicate links. A site may link to a page internally multiple times. Internal links are not counted as votes like external links are.

Target broad keywords for local or broad keywords+local city?
Hi Joshua, Good for you for letting the client know that duplicate content landing pages for the cities are not a good idea. If the client is rural and the competition is low, I honestly wouldn't be recommending city landing pages at all in this scenario, unless their is a genuine reason for the business to be describing its activities in cities B, C, D, etc. Again, without knowing the nuances of the specific business, it's hard to give great advice. So, I can only take a general stab at this. Let's say the client is a farm supply store located in Sonora, California. They are the only farm supply store within a 20 mile radius, and they want to be sure that customers in neighboring communities like Angels Camp, Jamestown, Colombia and Groveland know they exist. I would likely recommend a strategy like this: Optimize all key pages of the website for product/service terms + Sonora Earn testimonials from the farm store's loyal customers who come to them from various towns and include these throughout the product/service pages, including the name of the town the customer comes from. Build citations for the Sonora-based store Put a blog on the site and, on a modest basis, blog about industry-related events in the all the surrounding towns. Good content for the blog would be things like planting forecasts for the various towns at the different mountain elevations, coverage of farm stands, rural fairs, bake sales, mills, large animal vets, farming demonstrations, school gardens and anything else that relates to agriculture taking place in the neighboring communities that shop at the farm store for products. Consider offering town-specific sales, contests and other promotions. Given the rural location and low level of competition, this would likely be all the business would need to do to become very dominant for its goods and services within its own city and in the neighboring communities. It should not be necessary in any way to create those thin, duplicate content pages. A modest but well-planned effort should be all this business needs to succeed.

How many outbound links, we can add to our blog content?
Howard, As far as i know there is not an exact number you are allowed to link to form content. I looked at your page (disney part 1) and the number of links is not to high for the amount of content but I think it's mostly everyone's opinion. A thing that stood out for me: When I visit your site I see a huge header section with social buttons, site-search, logo, menu and a huge H1. Then I just see a small portion of your content with more adds then content. This could get you hit by Panda/Penguin. Also I see 2 search columns? One on the top right of the page and one in the main section of the site on the right just above the Most popular by Views section. Why? I would suggest keeping just 1 search bar, making your header a lot narrower (lower) and removing some of the ads on top and placing them further down in the content. That just my 2 cents on this. As for your question about the outbound links: If the links adds value to the page and is logical then you can keep it but keep it all to a minimum. Jarno

Hi guys. My site, www.x-mini.com attained more links and got better alexa ranking. However, my DA and PA dropped. How can I explain this?
Just because you get more links doesn't mean they are "quality" links. You might have sites linking to you that google considers spammy or link farms. Go to google webmaster tools or moz and check out your in bound new links. see what there DA and PA are, and see if they are quality pages that should be linking to you. I will assume there are some in there that are paid links or spam links, go to google webmaster tools and remove the links.

How log to take my campaign get approved and state work ?
Hi, and welcome to Moz! The campaign at Moz helps you to identify what is going well and things you may want to do, but you're the one that needs to decide what to do and how to get the work done. If this wasn't what you were asking, a little more information to help clarify your question would be great. Thanks!

Do google counts YouTube backlinks?
Youtube back links do not count toward your link profile. You need to build quality links by reaching out to newspapers, writers, bloggers, make friends with them and ask them to write a article. or better yet, give them an idea that writing about something you know will make there blog better. Then they will link to you and youll get quality links.

Two months into SEO and I have a few questions. Read on.
When you are searching your keywords make sure you are not logged into your Google account that is linked to your blog/website. Many times Google shows you what you want to see ranking your page much higher when you search but not others. logging out of your Google account will give you a better view of your keywords rank. Google in general can fluctuate search results especially based on the location of the IP address. Google has become location based and will return relevant information based on geographic regions that searches are preformed.

On Site Errors
Your SEO is right - even if they are updated, it can take a while before they disappear in Webmaster Tools. Google is not really best in class to update these warnings. I did a quick crawl of your site with Screaming Frog, and I couldn't find Duplicate Page Titles or Meta descriptions. 20 pages don't have a metadescription (/tag/ pages) For a site of 89 HTML pages, the tool had to crawl a lot of resources though - you could consider to put a 'nofollow' tag on the reply links in your comments (the url's of type http://www.bluetea.com.au/sydney-kitchen-companies-a-buyers-guiAde/?replytocom=383 are not indexed, but the links to these pages are followed which ads no value, and is just wasting google bot's time) Some of the examples you give are extremely light on content (http://www.bluetea.com.au/portfolio/potts-point-kitchen/, http://www.bluetea.com.au/cleaning-products-and-our-health/toxic-cleaners/ http://www.bluetea.com.au/colour-consultant/fushia-door/ , you could consider to add some text to these pages, and at least add a alt tag to the images you show. While visually very attractive, 27 images are above 100k - check if you can compress them (think about your poor mobile visitors). Page speed seems to be quite good, noticed however your use a lot of javascript (23% of bytes transferred is javascript) - a bit strange as your site doesn't seem to be that complex. Also check your external links, 4 of them lead to pages that do not exist anymore.(http://www.cosmit.it/tool/home.php?s=0,2,67,71,78, http://www.sampfordixl.com.au/neff/t44t97.html, http://www.kitchenwaresuperstore.com.au/, http://www.forbo-flooring.com.au/) rgds, Dirk

Google Not Recognizing Domain Name Change
I agree with Ray. However, I tried to crawl both your old url & new one always got a "Connection refused" error in Screaming Frog (even when reducing crawlspeed & increasing default response timeout). . Maybe this is completely unrelated, however never had this on other sites before. Did you try to fetch the new pages in Webmastertools? Your robots.txt is quite long - you're sure that all pages that need to be indexed can be indexed? (completely unrelated to the indexing problems - I used webpagetest.org to see if your site was accessible by other automated tools - it worked, but also revealed that your pages are extremely heavy to load) Dirk

Local Ranking Power of a Multi-Keyword URL?
Hi Miriam Thanks very much for your response. Much appreciated. The reason I asked about this particular issue is that a client's site is slightly below this one on key searches even though it beats it on nearly every criteria in OSE (authority, links etc). Therefore I am looking at any other factors - such as this url issue - which could be making the difference. Thanks again Neil
