Patrick, Thanks for the info on disavowing backlinks. I'm just starting to dig into it. Re: Running through backlinks, I read the article you referenced. It was pretty comprehensive but it wasn't clear to me how to redirect a backlink to the new page. Is this something to discuss with the person responsible for linking to you or is there a technology solution you have in mind. I feel like a bonehead having to ask, but I'm eager to learn here, so I'm ignoring the potential for looking pretty stupid and asking anyway.

Thanks for the input. I just wanted to see if maybe anyone had any "tips or tricks" regarding this. Since I can't use trademarked names in the ad copy to increase relevance, I think I look at what Alick300 said about CTR and try to increase that to increase QS.

So far so good - every URL I try to my site is now redirected to the www subdomain and, to date, I am unaware of any side effects. I will keep monitoring but all looks good at this point. Thanks again to everyone who helped with this. Mark

Thanks Patrick for the reply,   Let me like to tell that each of both pages of our website rank once in listing for our main key search term. It happens to see  sometime 1st page rank(that is homepage) and sometime 2nd page rank(sub-page of website). But both pages don't rank together in the SERPs. Ranking both pages alternatively is not anything serious thing causing or splitting our main objective page to rank higher?? We are trying to figure out, what BEST SOLUTION we can have to implement in order to bring our any of web-page first-5 rank .. ?? Warm Regards, Aman

I don't generally recommend buying press releases as a strategy unless you are trying to hide things in search. It really works well for that. But I would be willing to bet by PR agencies they are not talking about the places that you can go buy a $399 package and have a blast done. They are talking about a different kind of advertising agency that might call Paul in the tech office and say "Hey man, I want this to run, how much?"

We never know exactly why Google makes the determinations it does. Maybe your competitor's site is better optimized for luxury cars, or maybe it has to do with links to the page. SEO is always done in a bit of a black box...

Hi Jimmy, It seems that the page is not indexed yet. I fetched the page again and this time it said succesful. Now the URL is tagged to index, so i will notice tomorrow if the page is getting indexed. Thank you very much for your help! Greetings Bob

this is simple. rather that test what the domain name is, test what it is not. use the logic, if not my-preferred-domainname then redirect to my-preferred-domainname.

Hi there, Do you have an example of which pages use this mobile menu? From the testing I did, I could not get the menu that uses that code. It would be beneficial to ask your developers if this code is still in use (I would describe it as: the drop down menu which has an ID of "yt-mobilemen") If this menu is no longer in use I would remove it as it is affecting your keyword density and does not look very natural, which will not be seen positively by Google, due to it being part of a dropdown, there is no association of it being part of the navigation, so to Google it just looks like a big block of keywords. The mobile menu I witnessed came in from the left, was very nice and uses the same code as the full size one so as not to cause duplications, this is the preferred method, so if you are able to get rid of the big block of text, then go for it! Be aware that initially it will be seen as a block of text disappearing, so would be helpful to add some more substantial text to your pages to compensate Kind Regards Jimmy
