Thin Content to Quality Content
In my opinion, quality content has nothing to do with keyword density in it. If the content is quality, users will stick on the page and you will get more time on site by users and shares on social media accordingly. As far as the rankings are concern, I know it’s important but keyword density is not the only thing that Google took in to consideration when ranking a website. My advice is to do the deeper analysis of the website and see why the rankings have dropped? - Is it because the content that dropped its ranking were really bad? - Is your bounce rate high on those pages? - How many shares and link you get on pages that are ranking well as compare to the pages that dropped recently - How powerful is your internal linking Also, create few more content and see how they are acting after the update, and make a decision based on the data you have collected. My advice is to keep your users as your first priority because if they like it, they will share it and the conversion rate (important at the end of the day) will improve. Hope this helps!

Link Analysis Tool - Unique Anchor Text
Not sure if some tool actually does that for 1000+ URLs but i guess Majestic should be your choice in that case. Again, I have never tried it myself so its advisable to get a 2nd opinion

SOS: NEED 70 Initial Users in 7 Days
For 70. The best way is simply to get on the street and go one on one. Hire a bouncy promotional model and I would think have it wrapped up in one day. Target the right locations. Everything else is too risky, or make too long to go through an agency. Business to business is the starting point for most start-up's - you look like no exception... good luck and go get them.

How to track offline conversions
Hi, Jasmine. Out of all companies you have listed, which one is your favorite and why? (I assume there was a reason to switch from one to another)

Is constant contact a good source for seo links? how about best of the web? Is tweet angels a smart move? anybody got a good list of strong DA and PA link companies you can do business with and also get strong follow links from? thanks...
Hi Ben! Hard as it is to hear, you're really not likely to make much headway with links like that, rankings-wise. Directories really just don't have the value they once did, and it'd be pretty clear to the search engines that links from, say, Constant Contact aren't exactly "organic." That doesn't mean they'd _hurt _you, necessarily; it just means they're not likely to do you a lot of good. It certainly takes longer, but you and your clients will be much better-served through organic link building. I'd recommend reading the Beginner's Guide to Link Building if you haven't already. It's a great place to start.

How much difference does .co.uk vs .com for SEO make?
Update to the above. Just checked that the results also apply in Yahoo and Bing, in that I rank first page for .com but 2-3rd page for .co.uk. As I understand setting geographic target in WMT would have no bearing on this? Seems .searchengine.co.uk really prefers .co.uk over .com?

Meta Title Tags - Quick question!
Honestly, I like your example competitor's tag, and here's why: Canon BJ10V Canon BJ-10V Cheap Inkjet Cartridges Canon BJ-10V Ink Canon BJ-10V Ink Printers Cheap Inkjet Cartridges for Canon BJ-10V Ink Printers Just look at all those beautiful keywords that look just like something someone would actually type into a search engine to find your product. It's descriptive and gets the job done pretty well. You could probably lose one of the printer names and add your brand, but I don't think it's so spammy as you think.

When to determine that a change DIDN'T affect conversion rates
I suggest using Google Analytics Experiments, with multi-armed bandit. Doing so you can set the significance level you want and the experiment will stop when that value is reached. By default the p-value there is 95%, I usually left it set to 95%. And I usually repeat the experiment a second time to confirm results.

301 Redirects
It looks like your last line is just redirecting one page? This has worked for me to redirect them all to their corresponding pages on the new domain (*You'll want to test this first): <code>RewriteEngine On RewriteBase / RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !newdomain.com$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://newdomain.com/$1 [L,R=301]</code>

Images with a token in the url, in Drupal. How does it affect to SEO?
Hello Umar, I am about in the same situation as teconsite. I would suspect that the search engine will ignore the ?itok token because it's a well known URL parameter and therefore the search engines will assume that they mustn't take it into account. Or do you think, they will consider image.jpg?itok=1 and image.jpg?itok=2 as two different images? Would it make sens to specify this in the Search Console/GWT as URL parameter? Thanks for your help in advance!

Comment Links and Pingbacks
Hi, About point one: Links in comments can be a great addition to your posts if they are legit and an extent of your post. Typically this is not the case with most comment links. Make sure you clean up any spammy (promotional) links or work with a trusted user system. This way you can promote legit user that are actively participating on your blog to post (do)follow links. I know Yoast.com works that way on their blog. About point two: This discussion on Moz should provide you with an answer: https://moz.com/community/q/do-pingbacks-in-wordpress-help-or-harm-seo-or-neither I hope this helps! Best regards, Bob

Official Site label in Bing SERPs
I actually think it has less to do with schema and more to do with things like Freebase. It's the same as the one box showing up in branded searches in Google. I don't know the threshold or metrics for how to get that, but I know you at least need to have the same consistent information across the web about your brand. As Bob said, I'm really curious if anyone has insight as to metrics or thresholds.

Will unused/dead pages within my site that is non-linked hurt my seo?
Thanks for the help. I guess it was bad practice on my part to have a lot of unused pages on the website but glad it doesn't have much bad effects. I used site:yoursite and it returned a lot of the unwanted pages (came with the theme). I've removed them now and will return 404 for now until removed.

Are businesses still hiring SEO that use strategies that could lead to a Google penalty?
Thanks for the answer Marie. That is true about the SEO in the middle who can talk the talk and can get away sounding like a pro. It's also true that many small businesses, especially those online, have little budget but have the desire, if not the need, to rank and just can't afford big budgets, so they are at the mercy of the cheaper SEOs.
