SEO Problem With My Pages ?
It is a matter of waiting, until google does not index the page. The google robot passes by every so often, that's why you didn't see the pages being indexed. As you were told you can use google search console and site:xxxx in the search engine.

Should I index resource submission forms, thank you pages, etc.?
You can no-index these pages usually, I wouldn't say that Google considers them thin content pages though as they can be found on any website on the web and they can probably guess that the page isn't relevant for the user anyway. Some pages like thank-you can be no-indexed but in the end, Google shouldn't even be able to visit them as they require you to fill in a form. Overall I would mostly look at the priority of this task, in the end, there is likely a 100+ other things that I would do first in my strategy over no-indexing pages that have low relevance.

NoIndex tag, canonical tag or automatically generated H1's for automatically generated enquiry pages?
Hi Tom, This is fantastic, thank you especially for being so thorough. I was aware of the redirect issue, but this will help me take it to my IT team with an easy to follow solution. I do have to admit, I'm not 100% clear on the suggested solution for the automatically generated enquiry forms. Were you saying once the redirect issue is amended the enquiry pages do not need further attention? Thanks again, Kim

Local Site stuck on page 2 for years. Can’t penetrate page 1! Help!
I'd say for most of my clients without looking is the sites coming in lack huge amounts of relevance... If you do a search you may not have the keywords you're going after inside the URL, Title, URL-Slug, Headers etc... but honestly the first 3 are where it's at, you can screw up your anchor text with nothing but generics and do well. I would of course hit around your main keywords if you've not done that. Also double check to see if your links are even indexed.

Relationship Between Cross-Domain Canonical Versions and Backlinks
The canonical version of the page is the only one that gets indexed and only an indexed page can pass link authority. In this case, only www.mysite.com would be passing link authority.

How to hold a variable constant for an A/B test
Thanks for the reply. I'll check out the links you included. I thought it might be helpful to show an example of what got me thinking along these lines. This is a study about A/B testing of title tag changes. They don't say they accounted for position fluctuation; maybe they didn't, but it seems like you'd have to in order to have meaningful results. https://www.rankscience.com/coderwall-seo-split-test
