  • Open Site Explorer results seem legit.  Just make sure that the content you create seems as natural as possible for that blog. Guest posting for link building can be tricky. It's on the older side, but this post from last year could help.

  • Did  you validate both the www & the non-www version? It could take some time before the links are taking into account. Apart from that, GWT is not exactly best in class to show the links to your site. This the reason why Open site explorer, Ahref,...etc exist. Dirk

  • Hello, my friend. You want everything from everywhere right here and now on a silver platter with a golden rim. Such things don't exist However, Most of what you ask for is in Google Analytics. The only stuff GA doesn't have is dom related things like load times, waterfalls etc. For that part I use webpagetest.org. The have API, as well as GA does, so, you can combine them into one.

  • Hi Mitesh, I know that Omniture offers hourly alerts, and is the most commonly used analytics platform after Google Analytics, as far as I know. Personally, though, I'd stick with GA and hire a developer to use GA's API to create the alerts you're asking for. Pretty much any analytics tool other than GA is going to cost you an arm and a leg, and all have their limitations. A good dev will be able to create the exact report you need with GA's API. Sorry this wasn't more helpful! Kristina

  • Internal links from the page to the same page? 0.o Common sense tells me that there is no any common sense behind that Again, internal links are for informational structuring mostly! Dont be that "one guy" from this video of Matt Cutts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ybpXU0ckKQ So, to sum up: Google doesn't pay much "ranking" attention to internal links, it uses them to get structure of the website + a little bit for deeper understanding what page is about, not how to rank it. It's bad UX also. So, no, there is no any SEO value. If you have some data to prove me wrong - I'll gladly change my mind

  • When was your last crawl date in Google Webmaster Tools/Search Console? It may be that your site was crawled with some kind of problem with the robots.txt and hasn't been re-crawled since.

  • Google will index the second URL but will not pass any SEO weight to it since, as a temporary redirection, the first URL is expected to be restored shortly. You can find a very helpful explanation about redirections here: https://moz.com/learn/seo/[redirection](https://moz.com/learn/seo/redirection "Redirection")

  • It would depend on the type of business you offer and how much you use LinkedIn - same as any other Social Media platform I guess. We have used it and seen some good traffic come through to our website, hard to tell how much business it has given us directly but we use it to interact with other businesses and have had some good feedback from it. Joining 'Groups' and sharing content to them has proven to be quite successful but be specific with the groups that you join as the content you are sharing will have to be relevant. Best thing to do in your situation would be to trial it for a couple of months to get a feel for what your target audience would be from LinkedIn and how relevant they would be to the business.  Try communicating with the audience in different ways throughout the trial, maybe do some split testing to see what gets the best response. Be active and share relevant and useful information

  • It's probably possible to block these url's from indexing using a regular expression in your robots.txt - however keep in mind that if bots encounter these links users will encounter them as well which leads to a degraded user experience. If I was in your situation I would try to solve the problem at the root - avoiding that these strange links are created in the first place. rgds, Dirk

  • Hi Rosemary, The dust has definitely not settled. Linda Buquet and Joy Hawkins have been documenting numerous different Snack Pack styles. Here are some links to get you started on this: http://imprezziomarketing.com/seo-blog/google-maps/4-observations-about-googles-new-snak-pak-local-search-display/ http://www.localsearchforum.com/google-local/35962-no-reviews-stars-new-local-3-pack-yet-another-google-test.html Linda has quite a few threads on her forum regarding the Snack Pack, so you might comb through those to see if anyone has reported what you are seeing regarding Android vs. Apple. I can't recall, per se, seeing that mentioned, but there has been so much news about this, it's hard to remember everything If no one else has documented it, maybe you'd like to! From what I've seen, I don't believe Google has settled on a preferred style of these yet, hence the variations being reported. Stirring times!

  • Hi Jaume! Spam Score works by considering 17 different factors that are frequently present on sites that have received spam penalties. Each site is given a number based on how many of those factors are present. Most sites have at least one or two of those factors, and many sites have several of them without ever receiving a penalty. The more flags a site has, though, the greater the likelihood that it could receive a penalty. You can read more about how Spam Score works here.

  • Thank you I think you have answered my question.  It looks like my only option now is start a new website using WordPress.  If I continue with my current website I will be throwing link money down the toilet.  What is really sad is that I bought the SEO version of the website thinking it would give me more options.
