Avoid Keyword Stuffing in Document
Hi, I'm new to MOZ and I love the tools. I run a couple of websites that I have optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin. Yoast tells how many keywords and if it's enough or to less. In my case all websites meet the Yoast credentials. Now I'm running each page through MOZ and I got all A grades which is great, but many pages I have keyword stuffing. If the article is 2000 words or just 800, it's the same error. Yoast counts words/keywords depending on the length of the article. I don't see this within MOZ and I doubt if an article is 2000 words I can't use the keyword 20 times, that's just 1% but MOZ tells me stuffing. Would also like to learn more about this. Oscar

International Sites and Duplicate Content
Hey Guido, don't know if it's the best solution, but could be a temporary fix until the best solution is in place. I suggest to move forward with proper HREF LANG tagging or definitely delete those irrelevant languages. Try to do what I said before about validate each country/language and submit a sitemap.xml reflecting that folder to see crawl and index stats pero country/language. Add a sitemap index and obviously validate your entire domain. Just block in the robots.txt unnecessary folders, like images, js libraries, etc. to save crawl budget to your domain. Let me know if you have another doubt

Do I need to specify the country in the lang tag? Is this going to affect my ranking?
I agree with Alick, this does not matter much and I don’t think this will have any impact on rankings.

Canonical tags being direct to "page=all" pages for an Ecommerce website
Currently my 301's are being directed to relative pages. but for example: www.shoes.com/category/redshoes.do <------ Current Redirect from (www.shoes.com/category/myredshoes.do) www.shoes.com/category/redshoes.do=sortby=page1 www.shoes.com/category/redshoes.do=sortby=page2 www.shoes.com/category/redshoes.do=sortby=page=all <----- **Current Canonical ** www.shoes.com/category/redshoes.do=sortby=page=all <--Should I Redirect from www.shoes.com/category/redshoes.do I basically want to distribute my authority to one page and contemplating if redirecting to a "page=all" along with my canonical will improve the overall performance for that page.

Links on page
As far as the penguin is concern, it doesn’t matter what pages/websites you are linking out to what really matters is what kind of websites are linking back to you. If they are spammy and shady websites probably the chances are you will get hit by penguin but if the links are from decent and relevant websites you are safe. As far as the best practice you are talking about, think about your customers and readers if they are fine with it, there is no technical issue with all on one page with linking out to PDF and manufacturers. Hope this helps!

Why is Google displaying meta descriptions for pages that are nowhere contained in said page metas?
Hi Jeffrey: Sometimes Google shows other info in the meta description like Open Directory Project and Yahoo Directory. Have you tried to implement this in the section of each page you have this problem?

Dealing with Omitted Page
Usually a page is omitted because it's very similar to another page on your site, and Google has determined that the other page is more important. Since the category page is probably higher up in your site architecture, it would make since that Google would rank the other page. Now that you've put the effort into making your landing page more unique, I would give that a chance to rank. One thing you can do is find additional places on your site to point some internal links to your landing page, and try to build some links from other sites to that page as well. That will help you tell Google "hey, this page is important." Good luck!

We're planning a major website redevelopment - SEO Considerations?
Try to isolate as many changes as possible. Everyone wants to do a big splash relaunch, but unless you're a serious brand, you don't need to do some fancy huge explosive relaunch. Each of these are big variables, and are best to not do all at once: Changing domain name Changing website design Changing website URL architecture Changing platform The worst is when people try to do all of those at once! It seems that you're staying on Drupal. The above article mentioned by Dirk is very good. A few things to always remember: Noindex/hide your development/staging site Always double check your robots.txt after launch Always double check your Meta Robots directive after launch Always 301 redirect page for page your important pages receiving links and traffic if those change Verify before and after everything in Analytics and Search Console Create a checklist of everything. Almost 100% of even the smartest people will miss at least one thing in a relaunch.

Sitewide links
Hi, Based on the info you've given, I would definitely go for your option 3. Having links in the footer of the site is never a good idea as it multiplies the number of links by as many pages you have on the site. If you think it makes sense to have a page presenting the other websites then that sounds great and only means one external link to each site; sounds like you could create some nice content on this page too! Hope that helps

Open site explorer
Aloha! With respect to the 3 different sets of the homepage's metrics, that would be related to how the pages resolve. If the pages resolve separately (like http://www.sassandgrace.co.uk/ and http://sassandgrace.co.uk/), then their page-specific metrics could be different. So, you could consider creating only a single version of your homepage to help condense these values for the future. As far as links showing up in the index are concerned, there could be a couple of reasons why they're not displayed yet. Our index is updated on a roughly monthly basis, so if your site (or the links pointing to it) are newer, then they likely wouldn't yet be included in our index. Another thing to note is that our index is focused on the most authoritative links we can find. So, I'd recommend focusing your linking efforts towards cultivating quality backlinks from prominent pages of authoritative sites, and you'll likely increase your chances of being indexed by Mozscape!
