Clickable Images Question
Hi Mark! When writing blogs for our clients I make the photo link to "none" UNLESS it is a brand logo or something of the like that can link to the brand/manufacturer's website. I find that this could negatively impact the user experience if they click the photo only to realize it brings them to a webpage that only shows the image. The most important information when adding a photo is the ALT tag. This lets the crawlers know what the image is of. If I were you, I would ensure all the photos being added have an image ALT tag but do not link to just the image file to ensure positive user experience. Hope this helps!

Which Plugin is this?
I am assuming they have hardcoded it themselves into their site using the same idea as the plugin does. When you said you wanted to copy it, that plugin I linked is probably the best way unless you get a developer to hard-code it for you like SEJ appears to have.

Navigation is not showing up when disabling JS?
Sorry for the delay Taysir, I didn't see the PM. I took a look at your site though and your implementation of the drop down menu is good and both Bing and Google are indexing it correctly. Hope this helps!

Community Discussion - Are URL profilers worth the investment in time and effort?
I've used URL profiler to for a content audit on our own site. It helped us to identify the areas of our site that needed to get cleaned up, and more importantly, which pages had thin content. It was also helpful when trying to prioritize which sections to do first. Craig's article highlights another useful way to utilize the tool, looking forward to trying it out.

New website content before or after new webdesign launch?
Hi Jozsef, The sooner you put the content online the sooner you will start ranking with it. So if the content, url and metadecriptions/ tags stay the same it wouldnt harm to just post it.

How Important is it to Use Keywords in the URL
I can definitely say that keywords in a URL can make a difference in a competitive vertical. We have an article on site with a slug of "best-place-to-buy-a-mac-online" and you get one guess what keywords it ranks for. That said, if you're talking about changing URLs sitewide, I would be very cautious. Maybe make changes to one or two pages to start and watch them for a few weeks.

Help! added WWW to wordpress site and now lost SEO ranking
WordPress should take care of it, I don't know why it didn't happen. Between that and you seeing the non-www canonical, maybe there's a full-page cache in action, that hadn't been invalidated yet.

Can I change the default attribution model in google analytics?
Hello Paul, Update Google Analytics Specialist just confirmed to me that my initial response was correct in that you cannot change the default model used for non-Multi-Channel Funnels reports. Original Response Thanks for your question. This is unfortunately something that cannot be done. As you mentioned, Last Non-Direct Click is the default model used for non-Multi-Channel Funnels reports. To my knowledge, and based on the Google documentation & their live-support, there is no way to change this. That said, an Analytics specialist is supposed to get back to me in 24 hours and I will update my response with any new information they provide. While you cannot change the default model, you can narrow down the Model Comparison Tool to the goal or goals you're wanting to dive further into. This combined with changing the primary & secondary dimensions along with using the conversion segments should allow you to find the information you seek, though likely not as efficiently as we'd like. Sorry for the bad news, but hopefully you can use the Model Comparison Tool as a workaround. Trenton Here are some additional resources on how to create your own attribution models.

Dynamic XML Sitemap Generator
Are you running a CMS? If so maybe it has one built-in or available as a plugin - for example the Yoast SEO plugin on WordPress will create a sitemap, has plenty of inclusion & exclusion rules, (including a per-page override), and helps you do a bunch of other stuff too. I'm most other CMSs have something available by now. If it's a custom-built dynamic site maybe your development team, (or developer), can add sitemap functionality. If you have a lot of pages, backed by a custom database, the best way to make sure your sitemap is up to date will be to generate it based on your data, not let some 3rd-party tool follow links around your site - Google can do that already! If you are not running a CMS, or a custom app, how many pages do you have? It might be easiest to write the XML sitemap by hand, (although I'm a developer, so that's easy for me to say), or try out Logan's recommendation.
