Ranking is dancing for 2 months
For which keywords are you seeing a fluctuation? Anyway fluctuations are normal. Particularly during or after a spike in link acquisition, which you are undergoing according to both ahref and majestic. And let's assume you are referring to keywords like "virginia beach va", it's a rather generic keyword, and even if competition doesn't seems high, in my experience it's hard to get a stable ranking for generic keywords.

I crawled my site, but an old crawl report still is visible
Hi there - Kristina from Moz's Help Team here. I had a chance to peek into your Campaigns and I show that the latest crawls were performed on May 15th & May 17th. You can see the latest date your campaigns were crawled by clicking on the "Site Crawl" portion of your campaign and the date will be displayed on the upper right hand corner of that page: http://screencast.com/t/yPcd5qsf79Z Site Crawl within a campaign is automatically performed on a weekly basis. Since your sites were just last crawled on the 15th & 17th, they won't be crawled again until the 22nd & 24th, respectively. If you've made any changes to your site in the midst of that week, and you want to check if you've made any progress on the notices in your Site Crawl, you can always run a paired-down version of the Site Crawl (~3,000 pages) in the Crawl Test Research tool: https://moz.com/researchtools/crawl-test I hope this helps! In the future, please feel free to reach out to our team by emailing help@moz.com and someone from our team will be more than happy to assist with any questions about the tools that you have. Have a great day! -Kristina

If you want to DM me a couple of sample keywords and the domain, I could take a quick look. Unfortunately, these things are very hard to diagnose in generalities.

International SEO and Website Redirection
Hi Angelo, Those location-specific domains are what we refer to as a ccTLD (Country Code Top Level Domain) and while they are a minor signal to both search engines and users, if they're being 301'd to the .com they won't be offering any signals at all. The only way they'd be passing strength is if they have backlinks pointing to them. If this is the case, you can expect ~80-90% of this strength to be passed via the redirect, the same as a standard link according to Matt Cutts in 2013. If you really wanted to put those ccTLDs to good use you could create a geo-specific site on each one and have them rank individually for their respective country however I generally recommend against doing this simply because you're tripling the amount of time and budget that's required since each domain has to stand on its own merit.

How do batched URL metrics work in terms of rows and rate limit?
Hi there - Kristina from Moz's Help Team here. A batch of 10 URLs will count as 10 rows and you would need to wait 10 seconds before making the next query. If you make your next query too quickly you will be hit with a throttle which lasts 30 seconds. If you make another query during that period, you potentially could push that 30 second throttle even further out. I hope this helps! In the future, feel free to email our team anytime at help@moz.com and someone from our team will be happy to help out! Have a great day. -Kristina

Change of Address in Google Search Console
Brad, since the domain is not going to be yours, and you'll be unable to actually verify it in Google Search Console, then you probably won't be able to use the Google Change of Address Tool. However, if you are using 301 permanent redirects to redirect the content to your site, that should be good enough. Typically, when you use the Change of Address Tool you get more "credit" from Google, as it looks like they will pass most of the "link juice" over to the new domain--you don't get that when you only 301 redirect from domain to domain, you will lose some "link juice". I do recommend that you go ahead and use the 301 redirects.

Breadcrumbs not displaying on Google
Hello, I've recently in the last 3 months implemented rich snippet breadcrumbs as well, my experiences so far is that Google does what Google does, I mean that 100% . Only a handful of our pages show up with breadcrumbs in SERPs, at 1st was only our blog posts, then noticed another section, but not always consistent, as time goes on, it seems more and more are discovered however still aren't as consistent as I'd like. So give it a month or so, if you don't notice any breadcrumb being pulled up, either check code or wait some more. Google is still showing page titles from two redesigns ago, that's after reindexing that certain page a few times, and doing a few other things. Google uses a toddler like A.I. that will do what it thinks is the " best " option for the relevancy of it's searchers.

Handling redirects when 2 companies merge
I'm chiming in to add a vote for Mike's strategy. I've used the same strategy with great success when rebranding a business and moving it from one site to another.

4 shared locations - 1 phone number - legacy GMB - HELP!!!
Hi Neil, Unfortunately, if your client chooses to create 4 different listings with 1 phone number, he will be at risk for merging and possible ranking failures. If this were my client, I would not recommend that he do this. Honestly, if the client is only working 1 day a week at a facility, eligibility for inclusion in GMB sounds a bit iffy. I recommend that you contact Google directly to get their say-so on this, but a business that is only open 1 day a week could draw some scrutiny from Google.

How to reschedule a missed free moz pro walk through with the expert ?
Hi there! If you’re not able to attend a scheduled personalized demo it helps us a great deal if you can contact your specialist in advance to arrange a new time slot. Otherwise we have a lovely Mozzer hanging on the line with no one to talk to I can see that your demo master reached out to you with a link to reschedule, so you should be able to find this in your inbox or by logging into the app to pick up that message. If you don’t see this, just shoot us an email at help@moz.com and we’ll get it sorted for you. I hope this helps! Cheers! Jo

Do you need contact details (NAP) on every page of your website for local search ranking ?
Hey Mike! You've received great feedback from the community here (nice job, everybody!). While it's not a requirement to have complete NAP on every page, it is a best practice. I see these 3 options open to you: Convince the client to go with a more normal layout. If you can, put complete NAP in the footer. If no dice on that, put it in the masthead. And if that won't work, you could certainly put it at the bottom of the main body of the pages, incorporating it into your call to action. Hope this helps!

“XXX Close” and “XXX Cl” showing up as inconsistencies of the same address in Moz Local checker
Thanks @David Lee & @Matt Roney I agree that the address should be the same across all services, but its not possible when an address has the word "Close" in it as some providers will shorten this in the listing to "Cl" (although you've inputted close when filling out the form) this is just the way they chose to format it. Have a look at any address with the word "Close" in it in the moz local tool.
