Duplicate content and URL's
That's a good point. Does your CMS allow you to updaet the URL of an existing page? If it does, I would recommend doing this (rather than recreating the pages) and then making sure you have a static rewrite setup for that page. This is pretty easy to do in Apache and IIS (there are plent of guides available through Google)

Google Places
The fact they don't "own" the location doesn't matter. Many small businesses don't "own" the locations, they are leased. I'll bet the client in this case leases space to hold their training classes. It would be appropriate to to have a places listing for each location. In the addresses they can just create arbitrary suite numbers to indicate that they may not be the ONLY business in that "place."

Keyword Ranking Issue..
Have you checked Google Webmaster Central to see if there is any information on the domain there? Does your website still show up for other keywords? Does the page that was ranking for 'domain sales' still show when you perform a 'site:www.example.org' query for your domain? Have you recently engaged in any shady or black hat SEO activities that might have caused a penalty for this page? Has the page been ranking top 10 for a long amount of time?

SEOMoz site crawlers created an issue for our servers
Hi Stephen, If your server can't handle the SEOMoz spider, it wouldn't probably survive to all the malicious spiders out there... You should realy think into getting a new hosting account/server (or a new IT dept...). In the "Campaign Settings" you have a "Weekly crawl completed _for campaign: _" checkbox that you could uncheck to disable the crawling of a certain campaign. You might also want to use the "Crawl-delay:" directive into your robots.txt file, I don't know if it is supported by SEOMoz spider, but it might protect your server from other spiders. Otherwise, like Barry Smith suggested, you should get in touch with SEOMoz team and see what they can do. If their crawler doesn't support the "Crawl-delay:" directive, you might want to suggest them to implement it. Best regards, Guillaume Voyer.

How rel=canonical works with index, noindex ?
Antonio, I came into this question a little late so I'm not sure how it was back when you asked it, but right now the problem I see is that the page that does exist ( http://www.comparativadebancos.com/mejores-depositos-bancarios-de-marzo-de-2011/ ) has a rel canonical tag pointing to the page that doesn't exist ( http://www.comparativadebancos.com/depositos/marzo/ ), which returns a 404 response code. I think right now the best thing you can do would be to change the rel canonical tag on /mejores-depositos-bancarios-de-marzo-de-2011/ to be http://www.comparativadebancos.com/mejores-depositos-bancarios-de-marzo-de-2011/ .

Incorrect domain authority result on SEO tool bar and OSE
Yeah, it probably will continue to give you skewed results in any of these kinds of tools, not really a way around it that I can think of. I guess you'll need to put more credence into page authority metrics rather than full domain authority when working out a strategy.

Opinions on Alt tags
As you said it was a generalization, not necessarily directed at you. The quote you are referring to (mine, not Rands) is a simple caveat to anyone who might be reading this question and thinks that alt text will save the day. Optimizing alt tags is a great way to get the job done and accurately describe the images attached, my point was that stuffing, etc... is not. Again not a direct attack on you, just overall advice for people who might want to go down that road.

How Do You Leverage Linkscape Data to Overcome Your Competitors?
I agree with this wholehearedly. OSE is without a doubt the best tool for analyzing a competitors linking strategy. Seeing the competitors strategy is great, but another reason I really like it is because I can know how good the person is that I'm up against. If they have links that I have no idea how they obtained them, then they know something I don't, and vice versa. Have you figured out a way to successfully use OSE or Linkscape to get an idea of how well somoene's onsite optimization is? I'm familiar with the "internal MR passed" but that's one of those metrics I don't trust as much as the others. Do you have any other strategies? Thanks!

Are Facebook page updates indexed in Google search?
Yes for sure. I have tried posting articles into my facebook page and it was indexed. Not to mentioned the number of fans are shown up almost live on Google searches

Why does Open Site Explorer list Twitter and Facebook links for one of my sites and not others
OSE index is limited however it may be the case that your other site's links get indexed more thoroughly next time.
