Yes, I know how each one of those methods work.  What I was getting at was the fact that the links are all essentially the same in that they are generally on low quality pages and the end result is proliferating duplicate content throughout the web.  The Autoblogging tools I'm familiar with utilize RSS feeds or other data feeds (that someone else has "syndicated") to publish content. I suppose syndicating content would be effective if you're content is great and you are a well known blogger, like Rand!

Pipes are increasingly popular but a great deal of 'expert' SEO's still use hyphens. I tend to use pipes on new sites and haven't changed the hyphens on old sites.

Yes, Keywords with low Competion can be pushed to the top Ranks of Google via Forum(Spamlinks) with no related content whatsoever. Exact Keyword Targeting is quite powerful, even though Google wants everyone to believe it is not The other Thing to take in account is if you will be punished from Google for it. In My Option.... if you dont use Scripts to post your spam links :>, buy 10k Links, and dont get all your Links in 1 week, Google wont punish .... if you have like 100 Links a week.

Problem solved, well, more like diagnosed! Although the pages were A grade optimised, filters on the page (i.e. sort by high price, low price, new products) were seen as duplicate pages as the CMS would take the static page and add some dynamic content for the filter. Rel Canonical has sorted it, but we shall see next time Google updates.

I agree that you should be able to upload a big image, but unfortunately most of the libraries I've seen for doing backend image manipulation don't do a great job scaling down large images. They often end up blurry. Whereas a good graphics program will sharpen properly and you'll end up with a much better looking image. Would be interesting to see if yours looks better if you upload a pre-scaled one.

If you're worried, switch it to a local registrar. It won't take too long to propagate. I would go for it, if it's not a high trafficed site.
