  • Hi there, Sam from Moz's Help Team here! I'm afraid at the moment there is no option to view Difficulty within the Suggestions area. You could always add keywords from the Suggestions  area into a Keyword List to view their difficulty scores but this would use up some of your keyword queries unfortunately. Please do let me know if I can help with anything else.

  • Hi everyone, Thanks for the input. I have made significant adjustments to the design of the home page, adding text content etc. I have noticed my competitors rank for my keywords from their category pages and the category pages I have that rank, rank really well. My issue is coming from certain categories not ranking, instead, google uses my home page. Specifically these categories. https://usedcubicles.com/product-category/used-office-furniture/ https://usedcubicles.com/product-category/used-cubicles/ I want google to use my category instead of the home page to rank. I have no clue how to fix this. I have added links, content to the categories, changed the home page so its not so similar to the category itself. Google has marked those categories as conical but they just dont rank for the obvious keyword (H1). Also, please take a look at the new design of the product pages. The intention was to provide more information about each product not only to increase conversions but to decrease bounce rate. So far, we have seen a 15% increase in conversions. https://usedcubicles.com/product/knoll-reff-cubicles-fully-loaded-rare-find/ The only thing I can think thats holding my categories back is backlinks to the category URL'S

  • Hi there, You need to build backlinks that have local queries in them.  For example, if you want to rank for personal injury lawyer NYC then you need to get some backlinks that will have keyword-rich anchor texts.  You can find more information on local SEO here  https://moz.com/local-search-ranking-factors Ross

  • Hi there! Unfortunately, there is still not an option for changing your report generation date as it is based on your Campaign updates. The only other option would be to start a different Campaign on the date that you are wanting your custom reports to generate but of course, you would not be able to review historical data in that new Campaign. Apologies for the inconvenience here. As always, if you have any followup questions please email us at help@moz.com

  • There are definitely pros and cons of both approaches. I will say that as someone who currently manages 5 different regional variations of a site, no matter how well we implement our hreflang tags and canonical tags, etc. the search engines still don't index us exactly the way we want them to. That has been my experience elsewhere too. In theory, you should be able to maintain two very similar, or even identical sites, and as long as you properly implement hreflang and canonicals, you should be able to target one site to US and the other to UK. But in practice, I've found that even with these things well implemented, you end up with some pages from each site being served as results in the wrong country. So, I think it depends on how significant that impact is to you. In the case of the sites I currently manage, it is very significant as our product assortment, inventory levels, fulfillment options, etc. are different in each region. So, when a customer clicks through to the wrong region's page, and doesn't follow the suggested geo-ip-based guidance we provide when we detect that, they have a bad experience and we lose customers. In the case of the sites I manage, it is not an option to consolidate into a single site/page across these regions, because we operate independently in each country with different products, inventory, prices, etc. If that's the case for you as well, then I would recommend to do your best at properly implementing hreflang and canonicals, and just recognize that the search engines won't perfectly respect your directives for indexation. But if, on the other hand, your business could serve the same content to both regions, you would avoid those indexation pitfalls by consolidating on one domain. In your case, there is also another factor, which is the perception (in both markets) of the .co.uk domain as being local for UK. So, that helps you in the UK, and hurts you in the US. The .com domain will be better in the US, and not necessarily problematic in the UK, but also would lose some of the local credibility that your .co.uk domain has there. So, that's another consideration.

  • DA is a search engine ranking score developed by Moz that predicts how likely a website is to rank on SERPs. A Domain Authority score ranges from one to 100, with higher scores corresponding to a greater ability to rank. Check our website DA now. Thanks!

  • Hi there, In most cases, your home page has more SEO value due to the number of external links to pointing to it. It is normal that other websites are linking to your home page instead of linking to your inner pages. I would definitely include your keywords in the inner URL, but you should not make the URL very long. Ross

  • Hi there, Be sure to redirect all the URLs with trailing slash to the URLs with no trailing slash via 301 redirects. Also, you need to make sure that your canonical tags do not have trailing slashes. Make sure you update all the URLs across your site to no trailing slash, so Google can discover the new URLs faster.
