My website is not indexing the image.
Have you created and updated an image sitemap on Search Console? That might give Google a hint to index more images from your site

Fresh backlinks vs old backlinks: A solid ranking factor?
Hello, It is important to always keep developing new relevant content. The value of a particular link can be affected by many factors and the age of a link can be one of them. Personally, I believe many links are considered more relevant after they have aged for a while. I have noticed that links that are 3 to 6 months old and are of high-quality pass more ranking value that brand new links. Also, the quality of the traffic you are getting through those links is an important factor. As links start ageing and producing more and more traffic I really think they get more value from the search engines. Best Regards

Meta robots at every page rather than using robots.txt for blocking crawlers? How they'll get indexed if we block crawlers?
I agree with Gaston's approach right up to step 4. If you add the no-indexed pages back into a block in the robots.txt file, you'll end up back where you started from. Because Google will still discover the no-indexed URLs elsewhere and the robots, txt block will stop them from discovering the no-index, and the URLs will likely start to get added to the index again. No-indexed URLs must not be blocked in robots.txt. Those two processes are mutually exclusive.

A Really Specific Question about 301 Redirect Strategies
Hi David, Is it necessary to redirect ALL old URLs_**? **_ No. The old URLs will continue to show up in search results for some time. Your global redirect will make sure visitors and link juice gets appropriately routed, but you do want those URLs to eventually get dropped from the index. The best way to encourage search engines to do that is to not create a specific redirect.

Redirect Chain
Miguel, You are quite right that a redirect chain can be caused by moving to HTTPS. The problem comes when you have redirects already in place and then you move to HTTPS. So for example: http://domain.com/location1 Redirects to http://domain.com/location2 because you have moved a piece of content. If you then install an SSL and move to HTTPS then the route becomes: http://domain.com/location1>http://domain.com/location2>https://domain.com/location2 So there are now 3 URLs involved. This is a simple example with only 3 URLs - I have seen cases where there are 5 or 6 because someone left an HTTP link on the page. I have also seen redirect loops where there is an endless chain which cannot be resolved. In that case, the page just crashes. Best practice is to scrap the first redirect and replace it with http://domain.com/location1>https://domain.com/location2> Depending on who you read there is a small loss of link juice when passing through a 301 (permanent redirect) and a 302 (temporary redirect) so it is important to have as few as possible. It also makes perfect sense to have as few calls to the server as possible. Regards Nigel

What hosting provider do you use? I think mine is letting down my SEO!
had spikes of 1M visits a day. Happend over 2013 and 2014. Again, that is a website that consumes almost nothing of resources, just 4-5 pure HTML pages getting 6 lines from database.

Is it OK that the root didn't have any internal links?
Hi Cafegardesh The standard way of doing this is to link through the logo which will have the Alt text of the website name. Better all round than having a link saying 'Home'. Either way, it is essential you have this - your home page should naturally be the most linked page on the site. Regards Nigel

How do you call this kind of result snippets?
Hello! @ThompsonPaul is correct, this is a kind of rich snippet. Schema.org has some documented microdata markup around nutrition information. The item type is NutritionInformation, and you can utilize properties like "calories," "fatContent," or "caffeineContent."
