I like the direction that you are going in. Assuming they have filed all of their legal aspects of their business (trademark like you said, copyright, etc.), I would consider also registering the negative versions of their domain name. That way if there are any competitors out there or trolls trying to create a website in which they bash you, they will have a much harder time with it. Example: website123.com is your domain/brand. Negative Versions: website123scam.com, website123sucks.com, website123ripoff.com Things of that nature. Just something to consider. The last thing you need is someone ranking right next to you with one of these negative domain names involving your brand.

Yes Brandon, we are also seeing the same thing on our end. Looking for a workaround now as updates to our keyword research on the old tool look wildly different from the numbers we prospected.

Miriam Ellis has written on this subject a few times and perhaps her advice would be useful here. Link to them from a high-level menu. But she immediately follows that up with this point: "Finally, do not build an unreasonable number of landing pages." The problem is that our hosting platform is in a completely different programming language, if that makes sense. If we were to host another WordPress blog and want to put it on the same domain, it would have to be on another server and then load balanced, which would be a programming nightmare and consume thousands of dollars in hours of labor and other costs.

I remember when I first started link building, I tried a ton of techniques. Then one day I just went to one of the top 10 websites on Google for a similar term to what I was trying to rank for. But not so similar that we would be considered "competition". I literally just asked him for a link back to my site, and he added it that day. I thought it was the weirdest thing ever, I guess some people are just extremely nice, or don't know how valuable the link they gave was.

Hello yacpro, I would recommend providing a link directly to the top-level "Jackets" category for users. Maybe I don't know what type of jacket I want to buy? As for search engines, that's probably too competitive of a short-tail phrase to compete on, but at least the page will provide direct access for spiders (and users) to get to all jacket categories.

The URL https://makitech.no/ventilasjon/ventilasjons-pakketilbud was correct on the 05.02.2018 (google cache time) and did at this time not have any rel canonical set. When looking at the Google cache all i se is a white page, but when clicking on "view text-version" and "view sourcecode version" i se the content. Not sure why google cache shows only a white page on "view full version". Quote: "the more redirects you have in place, the slower the load times get". The way it's working now, there is no redirect. The shop is fetching the correct content but serving it on the "old/wrong url" instead of doing a 301. But it appends the rel canonical to the correct url. So i'am wondering if this is okay seen from Google's SEO eye

I have posted information showing you what happens when somebody tries to go to your sites right now and this could have been because real ones were not implemented correctly, in the beginning, I think so few links it really doesn't matter the thing that matters is picking a. canonical domain and sticking with it. For speed reasons I sincerely like www. I know it's not sexy but whatever. Please try placing your domains into this tool and make sure that only one redirect points to the canonical hostname that you choose. Hi Wizkids, Thanks so much for bringing your question to the forum. I'm so sorry - I've read through your post twice and am not totally sure what you are asking. I agree, the Moz post you found is too old to use reliably. The entire lingo of Local has changed so significantly since 2011, as have many Google features. Can you simplify your question, please, to ensure that the community is getting to the heart of the matter? What precisely is your goal? What are you trying to track? Organic traffic from Google My Business listings to your website? Something else? If you can refine your scenario, I'm hoping we can find an answer for you. Thank you

I see you added the certificate but you didn’t force https flow the guide and make sure it  all 4 URLs point to the (redirects) to https://www you can do it in no time with cloudflare then check it with https://varvy.com/tools/redirects/ hope that helps, tom

Hi, You never want to create multiple pages that are too similar as this will probably result in a penalty. The best way to do this is to create your main page and then talk about the different aspects of the content and you can use these variants in there - but don't keyword stuff. Use a word or phrase if it fits, but never just try to shoehorn it in. However, if they are very similar, you might not even need to do this because Google is good at knowing which words are similar and if your pages are good enough, it will see this. -Andy

@ThompsonPaul Moz was warning me about thin content and I got the idea that it was because of "/" from https://datayze.com/thin-content-checker.php?domain=https%3A%2F%2Falphalapia.com¶meters=&exclude=&elementtype=limit&elements= which said zero unique phrases maybe it's because i have "Home" and "Home_master" although the Home_master has eye crossed out (shouldnt be visible to goog)
