  • Few years back you could totally go for all the links to the homepage if you wanted to have your homepage to rank well. These days Google looks at the link relevancy that was mentioned above, and also link diversification that is natural to multiple pages on your website. So another vote for "give them their brands page on your website" Hope this helps

  • I'm seeing some growth starting around Oct 7th, but unlike you, I'm seeing this both for US and other countries, though all coming from the same site, so a bit different situation.

  • Thank you very much Eli Overbey I am pretty sure I have there too much keywords like beach etc. I guess I will need to work on better links, but where can I get such links? Who is normally linking to a website offering villas in Kenya? It is not a tutorial or something educational. I am quite desperate of this:-(

  • Omar, well the traffic from google.com.sa is landing on the root / ... and one thing that "might" be it is Siri now uses Bing and Google for its searchs. probably is affection all google including .com we trying to segmented using referral vs direct vs bing vs anything and there is no evidence yet that the traffic has been "replaced" by another channel

  • Hi folks! For people who are wondering what the answer here is, I grabbed this from our FAQ post we recently published: http://moz.com/community/q/trending-bugs-in-moz-analytics Where did my Campaigns Go? Whenever your account is suspended, your campaigns are archived. The good news is that reviving archived accounts is really simple. Go to your Campaigns section: http://pro.moz.com/campaigns At the top of the page there is a "Archived Campaigns" Tab, give it a click. From here, you should easily be able to "activate" your campaigns.

  • Definetely go for subfolders, you can then target all you linkbuilding activities to different parts of the domains, and this will eventually help the complete domain. We work already with subfolders for the last 15 years and also with the hreflang, works fine.

  • Thank you so much mrcensorious I was using some tools also in English(German language is not a problem for me, I have worked several years for a German company based in Cologne. Some best Ice cream is there as well!) But they all seem to give different results. I am pretty sure that I have some nasty stuffing most likely on the site. I will try the tool you gave me, I was on look up for a good density tool. Thank you very much and have good day! All the best Iris

  • You mean MOZ.com considers it duplicate content, right? Duplicate content, as in having pages with duplicate content will cause you a "ding" in your rankings-- but mostly when it's duplicated from domain-to-domain. I have never seen evidence of duplicate content on the same website, harming a website, no matter what Google says about canonical links. (I still think you should use canonical links.) But assuming that having some duplicate content on your site is really very harmful... Google knows the difference between a page that is actually duplicate content and plain old blank pages. MOZ may consider blank pages duplicate, but MOZ isn't nearly as sophisticated as Google. I wouldn't sweat it myself.
