  • Hey Wesley, Thanks for writing in with a great question. Unfortunately, we are not able to migrate data between accounts because there is a very high risk of data corruption not only to your campaign data, but also to other campaigns that are stored in the same server. I would recommend exporting the reports from your current account for historical reference if you need to create a new account. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Chiaryn

  • That's probably a GWT glitch and it should be fixed soon. You can report it in the Google Webmasters forums if you like.

  • According to Marketing Land's Matt McGee's article on Aug 16, 2013, "EdgeRank Is Dead: Facebook’s News Feed Algorithm Now Has Close To 100K Weight Factors" http://marketingland.com/edgerank-is-dead-facebooks-news-feed-algorithm-now-has-close-to-100k-weight-factors-55908 According to the article, Facebook hasn’t used the word internally for about two-and-a-half years. That’s when the company began employing a more complex ranking algorithm based on machine learning. The current News Feed algorithm doesn’t have a catchy name, but it’s clear from talking to the company’s engineers that EdgeRank is a thing of the past. He goes on to say: EdgeRank is a thing of the past, and it’s been replaced by a machine learning-based algorithm that, as [Facebook's] Backstrom says, “only ever gets more complicated.” According to WikiPedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EdgeRank EdgeRank is the name commonly given to the algorithm that Facebook uses to determine what articles should be displayed in a user's News Feed… the term may be considered obsolete now... My $0.02 on this: Bit the bullet and spend the $6.95 or so to "promote" posts to your followers. This is the new cost of doing business. Make your content as engaging as possible, so that people want to share it, like it, and comment on it. Just because people don't like / share / comment doesn't mean that people don't see and read it from a branding perspective. I've posted photos on Facebook that get 15 likes, but a lot more people see it and enjoy it (they tell me in person, a week later). Hope this helps… -- Jeff

  • Hi Rebecca What are the crawl errors exactly? From that report screenshot it looks like you have a variety of them, so the fixes will all be different. Let me know, and in the meantime you might want to check out my article on Moz about setting up WordPress -Dan

  • Hey Zach- First off, I've been to uncommongoods.com a few times. Great domain name and I think it's a great site. Google is always playing around with and testing what they choose to show or not show in the SERPs, sidebar, knowledge graph, G+ area. I'm still seeing the image thumbnail for the recent G+ posts for the brands I work with, but the G+ posts I'm seeing are of an image uploaded to G+ with text and a link included in the post. I certainly wouldn't worry about it. Simply put, if you're doing everything the same on your end, it's beyond your control.

  • The one quick thing I would suggest is to look at your "Anchor Text" report in Open Site Explorer and try to determine where those links are coming from. It's very possible they are coming from a single domain e.g. a sitewide sidebar link for example. If the # of linking root domains hasn't changed drastically, this is more than likely the cause.

  • Many thanks Alex, already on all of the points mentioned above but always nice to get some validation for plans of action... half the time that's more satisfying than coming up with them!

  • Hi Beth, If you go to Moz "pro" you can see any of your accounts that existed during pro in the old Moz Pro format. Any new accounts only allow for you to use the Moz Analytics interface! Do you have a bookmark for Moz that is taking you to the old Moz Pro possibly?

  • I personally would go with your option 2 (Create a page that says areas served... then each page would have a non-duplicated and original content for that area.) Building out those landing pages for your urgent care facility on your current site makes synergistic sense (since the businesses are very closely related, same industry etc.) and allows allows you to leverage the current link profile of your existing domain. If it is truly and independent business run completely separate from your existing practice, it may be a good idea to creat a site. Hope that helps!

  • Thanks for the insight. If that's the case, we're covered as a result of having all of our locations (with unique phone numbers) on Google Maps/Places... which evolved into Google+. Thanks again, Erik
