Adding CTAs in Meta Descriptions
CTA's in MD's work, so we use them often, but usually at the end. So a full MD with details about the page and then a CTA at the end. "Contact us today for a free Quote" etc. But I agree with Joe I also try and use the targetted customer query once in the MD together with synonyms if it works... Hope that assists.

Significant "Average Position" dips in Search Console each time I post on Google My Business
No worries, you often get the weekly dips when global - no idea why. However, when adding country it all flattens out. If the question is answered or happy please mark it accordingly. Hope that helps.

I'm looking for a bulk way to take off from the Google search results over 600 old and inexisting pages?
Just here to add some to Will almost complete answer: The 'site:' often shows results that won't be displayed in Google search results and don't represent the entirely nor precisely the pages that are indexed. I'd suggest to you: 1- If those pages are already serving 404 or 410, then wait for a little. Google won't show them in search results and eventually won't be seen in a site: search. You can check whether those URLs are being shown in searches through search console. 2- There is a script made by a webmaster that helps you using the GSC URL removal tool for a big list of URLs. Please, use it carefully and try it first within a riskless GSC property Hope it helps. Best luck. Gaston

Online press coverage: publications asking for fee to add backlink. Should I pay?
Yep. Sounds about right to me. I'd also check the relationship of their content to your client's industry. The more relevant the better. If you're paying for it, I'd also request they use specific SEO-friendly anchor text. _Ex: rather than hyperlinking the root domain (prisonconsultants.co.uk) would be better to hyperlink 'UK prison consultants' or something similar. _

Does "external noopener" still pass on link equity
Also see: https://www.forbes.com/sites/johnrampton/2017/11/06/the-difference-between-nofollow-and-noreferrer-and-why-it-matters/#32e295f11e06 There are tracking implications, meaning traffic will come through as 'direct' source in GA instead of from the referring domain, but does not seem to impact SEO.

Should backlink URLs include www, https, or both???
Hi udaipabla, You should always point your links to the final version you show users. In this case, you have all 3 redirected to https://www.remotebaba.com, then that should be the URL. The thinking here is to be coherent on what you tell Users, other webs and Google. Don't waste Google's time making it go through redirections whenever you can avoid it. Hope it helps. Best luck. Sitemap - What are the recommendations on the number of links
Sitemaps cannot (should not) contain more than 50,000 URLs: https://www.sitemaps.org/faq.html#faq_sitemap_size I'd recommend you instead create a sitemap index to house multiple sitemap files. Keep in mind you will need to separate the URLs in them in order to represent all 60K URLs you have in your existing sitemap. Separately, EGOL makes excellent points: sitemaps aren't the only way to get pages indexed. It's entirely possible that you do not have sufficient internal links that aid crawlers' discovery of your content: https://moz.com/learn/seo/internal-link You may also have directives (e.g. noindex) on certain pages or in your robots.txt that prevents crawlers from crawling and indexing certain parts of your site. It may be time for a technical audit: https://www.distilled.net/technical-seo-audit-checklist/

If i have 6 posts in a niche site, i want each one to rank for separate keyword. Should i internal link all of them together?
Yes absolutely. I'm sorry if my answer wasn't clear on that point but yes it's almost always better for rankings to have more internal links pointing to pages and if it's better for users too, then it's the best move all around.

Is it a good idea to create a faceted navigation on your footer?
All great points, Andreas, and thanks for sharing that resource with Ty1986. I just want to call out user expectation (and ultimately user experience): our expectation is that faceted navigation narrows or alters content on a page. Users _expect _to see this in an easy-to-find place, such as above or to the left of the content the facets will alter. Unless you're proposing a sticky footer-style faceted nav (one that follows the user as they scroll), I encourage you not to use your footer for facets.
